I use this hub in my living room, I ran a 50 ft. USB cord from my PC in the home office out there and connect it to this hub so I can have mouse/board and controller control so I can play PC games on the living room TV. For my purpose it works perfectly, and it having its own power plug makes it where I keep a stable connection, even when having multiple controller dongles hooked up for game night.

This is the second HDMI hub I have purchased from BestBuy - one for my security setup and this one for the family room TV and accessories. I didn’t care for my children moving the large, flat-screen TV out a bit every time they wanted to change gaming and/or video devices. This makes everything safe and easy, simply select which device you’d like and go! Very nice, convenient item and works flawlessly with no signal loss. Both of mine work perfectly.

It works perfectly. I set it up for a client because his previous hub was cheap, and this one works perfectly for him. He is very happy with it.

For the items price point and connectivity it’s solid having all the extra ports does help out when you do have a lot of USB cords that you need to use

Using many USB peripheral devices with my computer I run out of USB connections on my computer pretty fast and honestly most USB hubs are ugly boxes, but not this one. 7 inputs and still being very sleek is a plus. I have mine tuck under my desk in easy reach and not taking up precious space on my desktop. This one is a winner every time.

Ability to not have to disconnect one USB peripheral to use the other is what makes the JUH377 a top choice - simply insert and enjoy up to 5 Gbps data transfer rates.
Gratefully,

I purchased this in order to expand my usb ports in my PS5. Connected it to the back works great. Able to use the ps5 camera connected via this. The external hard drive doesnt not work connected to this. Also the headset from sony or any other head set that i have tried does not work with this. The usb device for the headsets also needs to be connected directly to the console. Wireless mouse and keyboard transmitters work plugged in to this.

Must have USB hub! Since this device comes with an included AC adapter, it has plenty of power for all of the devices we use every day. Doesn’t matter if you need to charge your camera your cell phone or any other USB device, if you plug in the included AC wall adapter it will charge every device without hesitation. Overall build quality of the unit is wonderful, solid aluminum housing makes for a sturdy device. Each USB port feels very sturdy and durable, as well as the plugs to power and transfer data.

Solid build for years of use and ability to work with various USB peripherals make the JUH377 highly sought out and we're glad to hear it, Megan.
Appreciatively,

Works pretty well for usb 3.0 hub to pc and to my doc station in case needed to use extra usbs. Though one thing i would point out is you are gonna need a replacement for the charger adapter tho after a year or two. So keep that in account and buy a couple of 5V dc power adapters that really works and last as long like great qualities should.

What the specs don't even reveal is that this hub comes with a 3.5 ft. connector cable; see photo. Meaning, the hub can be placed up to 3.5 ft. away from the USB jack it is connected to! That proved very useful in my case, because some of my peripherals have USB cables that are a little short to be ducted around the back of the desk, out of sight. Fortunately, the back walls of my desk have a couple of clamps that not only hold cables but also this USB hub; see photo. This being a USB 3.0 hub, not only are all my peripherals taken care of, they play very well with my PC—all lightning-fast. Best of all: The front of my PC stays clutter-free, with the USB jacks open for flash drives.

Hello,
We are happy to hear that you are enjoying the j5create 7 port USB hub. It is a great way to organize all your peripheral devices. This hub and the 3.5-foot-long cable or a great solution 4 desktop computers that have USB ports on the back. We appreciate that you took the time to write up a review.
Thanks,

Like many, I have multiple USB devices, but I also have multiple PC's connected to a KVM switch. So having all my drives available with the click of a switch was fantastic. So far it has been rock solid with BluRay burner and drives from 512G to 8TB from several different manufacturer's

Got one that lasted roughly 5 years until it finally gave out. (Though the power still works) definitely on the longer lasting side of things especiallygiven my use of it. The metal design also makes it quite durable as well. Definitely a good recommendation for a usb hub.

Works great for adding multiple hard drives to your media server. Only had two USB 3.0 ports, this made it possible for me to hook up 3 or more drives at the same time while keeping one USB port free on the actual computer.

I bought 2 of these to connect 9 external drives plus a flash drive reader to my desktop PC. My previous port was 2.0 and the difference in speed was quite noticeable. What used to take half a day to transfer files from my desktop to an external drive now takes 1-2 hrs. Would have given 5 stars except one of the ports did not work. Just not worth my time taking it back to return and purchase another since I still have 3 ports remaining for use.

I used double sided tape and stuck this thing to the underside of my desk. Totally beats stretching awkwardly behind my PC and sorting through the mess of cables. For someone w lots of peripherals that are in constant rotation, this is fantastic. And budget friendly! I have two of these! My only gripe is the placement of the power supply cable on the “side” rather than the “back”.

Excellent choice. It works really and you are able to connect multiples usb also helps keep cables organized. Looks really neat.

Supports USB bus-powered or DC self-powered for power hungry USB devices <img src="https://s3.amazonaws.com/stratos-logos/logos/j5create.jpg" alt="j5create" title="j5create" style="display: block !important; margin-top: 2em !important; border: 1px solid #ccc !important; padding: 2px !important; background-color: white !important;" />

The usb hub is very sturdy and well built. I really like that the hub has one of the ports that is always powered. The powered port can come in handy for a device that needs power when the computer is off. One usb port is on the side to hide it out of the way.

Great, USB hub! I bought it because my PC's back USB ports were blocking the signal for my keyboard, mouse, and Bluetooth, since the receivers were connected in the pack USB ports. But, they face forward and I get a good signal, and have a lot more ports. By the way you don't need to plug in the AC power unless you want the USB to serve as a charging port. Also, it comes with a long cable so you can place it far from your PC or other device.

This thing was a real lifesaver when building out my new desk. Simple, easy, lightweight so it velcro'ed to the underside on my desk without issue.

Great portable USB hub and a really good price too. I love the fact that it's powered by it's own supplied power source and doesn't just rely on USB to run it. I'm using 4 accessories on it and that still leaves me 3 more slots - and nothing is bogged down at all due to it being 3.0 USB. One of the hubs is set up specifically for charging phones, etc.
