Pros: fast connectivity to my MacBook, iPad, even my phone and good heat distribution. Make sure it has its own power line though, or it will chow your battery down. Inputs are secured well. Convenient for travel. It just lives in my laptop bag and has been useful more often than you might think Cons: cheap casing, feels flimsy and the little screws holding it together are in bizarre places. Not built to last and should have a more rugged design. The main connector cable doesn’t feel like it is going to hold up and is showing signs of stress.

I bought this product for my new DELL 2-in-1 which does not have the regular USB port. It came with only one adaptor to convert the newer USB 3.0 to the older type of USB port. I used all the features without any issue. What I like the most is that it is well built and it comes with everything needed for connecting a laptop to other devices. It is easy to connect cables to the different ports. I connect the HDMI to my TV and to a secondary monitor. With HDMI at 1080p worked with my TV, which is not a 4K. This is my first time using this type of product on newer laptops with USB 3.0 port. After many uses without issues, I recommend this product.

Allows you to add two additional USB peripherals, 4K or 1080p HDMI display, and Gigabit Ethernet through your USB-C port. <img src="https://s3.amazonaws.com/stratos-logos/logos/j5create.jpg" alt="j5create" title="j5create" style="display: block !important; margin-top: 2em !important; border: 1px solid #ccc !important; padding: 2px !important; background-color: white !important;" />

I purchased this hub to connect all my devices to my MacBook pro. I was very pleasantly surprised at the usefulness and added capability from the ethernet port to HDMI and additional USB ports. Work plug and play and the build quality is fantastic. The size is perfect not to large and small enough when i travel to fit in my case. Great products as always from J5create and thanks to the educated sales person who recomended it.

Great for my Lenovo IdeaPad diet which only has a single type c plug. Ive used the HDMI port, Ethernet port, and USB ports. Also works with my Motorola stylus g phone. Only drawback is when you plug your charger into it there seems to be some sort of power lose from the plug.

I was searching for an adapter to make my tablet hardwired and still get great charging support! Guess what... I found it after long research! The key was the charging port could not be next to ethernet. I found i5create so I said why not try it after about 5 other devices. Guess what... It works! No problems! I AM SO HAPPY!!!!

The ease of use, accessibility of several components like hdmi, usb and power section makes the product top notch. So far its durable and does not show any sign of deformity

My son bought this adapter to connect his school-issued Dell Chromebook to his gaming monitor on the days he “schools” from home. His Chromebook only has one USB-C port (to charge) and one USB-A port. He used the HDMI port for the monitor; the two additional USB ports for a mouse and keyboard, and he charges the Chromebook through the USB-C port. And there’s an Ethernet port to boot (if he ever has to hardwire). Bottom line, it’s going to be a lot easier for him to look at a 24” monitor instead of that 11.6” screen three days/week and for homework.

A lot of school issued laptops are lacking features. Adding a docking station of some kind can really improve the remote learning experience. We really appreciate you sharing your experience.

I have a monitor, mouse, and keyboard hooked to it so when I come in from school, I just plug my laptop in and have dual monitors a real keyboard and mouse. So it works out great for homework. I still have 2 type c ports left over for anything else I want to hook up to it, and I havent tried the rj 45 port on it.

Works fine. Use to connect my audio interface, external hard drive to my pc. Wish cord was less rigid and more flexible.

The j5create - 2-Port USB 3.0 Hub with HDMI and Gigabit Ethernet USB Type-C Adapter is great for connecting my external hard drives, key pad, and dvd drive to my MACBook. Finally I can move more than one file at a time.

If you are using a high-powered USB device, attach a USB-C power adapter to the power delivery port to ensure maximum performance. <img src="https://s3.amazonaws.com/stratos-logos/logos/j5create.jpg" alt="j5create" title="j5create" style="display: block !important; margin-top: 2em !important; border: 1px solid #ccc !important; padding: 2px !important; background-color: white !important;" />

This product has helped me with all my cords. It’s been very reliable. I’ve had it for close to a year. Now that I’m working from home I need to upgrade to have more ports.
