    Works great

    Is fast and works as expected, very easy to install but, it gets really hot too soon. Fortunetely since it works outside just make sure to be on an A/C environment or use an external fan.

    Works, but no FreeSync or VRR

    If you’re looking for a USB-C to HDMI adapter to pass through FreeSync or G-Sync for VRR, this won’t do that. I’ve tried 3 different adapters now and I am convinced it’s simply not possible. If that was your goal, hopefully I saved you a bit of trouble. That said, you can get an adapter with equal functions for less than half the price.

  • I recently bought a ps5, and my monitor is unable to support the HDMI 2.1 cable. Will this be able to support it, and allow my monitor to produce 120 frames. I have a Viotek 120hz monitor. Thank you.

    The USB-C to HDMI 2.1 8K Adapter will not work with the setup you are trying to accomplish via PS5 to a monitor. This Adapter connects using the USB-C side to a computer, tablet or mobile phone that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode for video out to a display using the HDMI side. You will need to use HDMI cables, one side connects to PS5 and the other to your monitor.

    The iPad Pro would need to support an available USB-C with DisplayPort Alt Mode for video out. If it's the newest iPad Pro 6st Gen or 5th Gen, it will work with the USB-C to HDMI 2.1 8K Adapter.

  • Does this work with a PS5 and a Dell g3223d? Trying to get an HDMI 2.1 port for VRR on PS5.

    The USB-C to HDMI 2.1 8K Adapter is intended to connect to a computer with an available USB-C port with supported DisplayPort v1.4 Alt Mode with DSC. Will not work for a PS5.
