I do a lot of driving while I work or run errands and have little taste for modern radio...so I listen to a lot of podcasts on my phone. Since my car is an older model there is no AUX in/out port and I bought this speaker from a selection of others due to it's price, its rugged claims, and the battery life claim on the box. I've not had time to put it through any kind of rough or negligent incidents but the speaker feels solid and heady with rubber around the edges so I believe it could stand up to day to day use. I wouldn't drop it off the roof or out of my car onto the concrete but that's good advice no matter how rugged a product claims to be. The battery seems very good! I haven't kept perfect track but I'd say that after charging it over night I was able to get probably 12 hours use out of it before it died of battery failure. So this won't last you a weekend camping but neither will your cell phone! If you use it for a day trip or like me while driving then you'll be fine. The volume is quite good too! If you turn it to maximum volume both on your phone and on the speaker it really hurts your ears in the car (I know from experience) but that is something I don't usually see from speakers I've bought previously. Very good speaker, highly recommend!

This sounds great but you have to position it so that a little vibrating mechanism in the back can work or you wont have any bass. Its waterproof but theres no way to sit in the shower so one day ill buy a hook for it. Anyway, I love it!

I have been experimenting with speakers in this price range with similar capabilities and features and so far this one has passed with flying colors. The sound quality is great, it's decently loud, actually waterproof, withstands being dropped (my favorite thing about it), and the battery life last for as long as expected. I work in construction and I take this speaker to work where drops, dust, and life badger it constantly and after a few weeks it is still going strong. Would definitely recommend for those with active lifestyles or those who are clumsy like me!

Great sound for a compact speaker. I was impressed with its volume. Great for what I paid. The clip is handy for my bicycle.

The Jam Xterior is small but produces a big and clear sound. For the price, you can't beat it. It is tough and waterproof. Great for outdoor use of just about any kind.

There were many choices for speaker I was looking for to replace the one I damaged of my daughter's, and she chose this one. She said that it was cheaper than the one she purchased about a year ago, and much better quality sound, and in the end was happy that I damaged her original so she could get a better speaker.

Sounds great for it's size and really cheap. Couldn't ask for more for $20

Small compact, all JBL speakers sounds very nice, I got this for my wife also got JBL small tube speakers, so I have several, they all sounds very nice. Battery life is very good too. They are very portable and I use them on my jet ski too

Performed well on a kayak trip; attached it to a point on the rim of the kayak by the speaker's integrated clip. Yes, it got splashed plenty with no negative effects which was my main concern. Sound overall is just ok, would prefer more bass response.

I needed to replace my Bluetooth portable speaker. The price was good as well as the size. The only difficulty is finding the power on button since it is embossed in the black vinyl of the speaker and hard to see.

This blue tooth fits on the smallest things with the clip and the sound is much bigger than it looks. Not the super bassy sound you get from more expensive speakers but well worth the money

GREAT SOUND QUALITY FOR A 3 INCH SPEAKER. I BOUGHT A 2ND ONE - NICE EXTERIOR RUBBER MATERIAL. THE VOLUME CONTROL SYMBOL COULD HAVE BEEN A LITTLE BOLDER OR NUBBIER TO SEE OR FEEL. OTHER THAN THAT - IT'S GREAT.
