I had a pair of 6" Alpine speakers and always thought they sounded "thin", no realism, sorry Alpine. I was in BB one day and stopped in the car audio "department", the set up was actually working so I tested like eight different speakers (four different brands including Kicker) and these JBL's sounded the best, and they were on sale, and they matched their own .com price so I got them even cheaper. Replaced them in my hot rod and they sound way better, well worth the swap. Take a listen and you'll see too.

Bought these for my Harley. 2 ohm requirement & they worked out great. Saved 150 bucks compared to Harley upgrades. Thanx Best Buy!

For about $170 a set of four of these JBL speakers are inexpensive and high quality. I've run Sony Xplodes, Pioneers, Kickers and Kenwoods. I prefer these speakers for their crisp treble and hard hitting base. Built in tweeters highlight sounds typically drowned out by other speakers. Above all, the mounting plates and vibration-deadening gaskets provided deliver all the sound without one rattle. In short, these speakers are very refined and very affordable. Can't wait to hook up a Kenwood DNX571HD head unit and hear them in HD.

Bought JBL GX after I wanted crisp sound in my New Jeep Wrangler I picked up 2 weeks ago, first of all I'm not a stereo freak and own 3 other vehicles truck, mid size, compact all have factory speakers and enjoy them. But now with my Jeep I wanted good sounding sound while going topless factory won't cut it...so I installed these myself to sound bar back and like the ole saying goes it's like freaking night and day...mids,highs,base even with factory radio make me Happy,Happy a plus is you get EVERYTHING you need for install other then cutting factory harness and replaced with spade connectors.20 cents each. I also added some polyfil for added sound@$3 for a big bag that you will only use 10th..so THE CONS::now I have to buy another set for front because I day dream of the acoustic sounds I would complete ,plus why would I be satisfied with waste sound coming from factory front...headed tomorrow back to Best Buy...quit wasting time and money on anything else go JBL DUDE...I'm Not bias I have had pioneer , Alpine and Bose speakers in the past

Great speaker! Easy installation. Highs and mid are incredible. Bass is good. I didn't purchase for the bass. I purchased for the highs. Recommend these speakers for sure.

This would have to be one of the best set of speakers for the money available out there. Sound quality is superb. Also installation was simple, everything needed was in the box. Just needed the adapters to match up to the vehicle wiring.

Purchased a pair during the 2014 Cyber Monday sale for $49.99 at the Riverdale, Utah store. I listened to all the test speakers they had available such as Pioneer, JVC, Polk (6.5s) since a few of them were on sale. These JBLs sound the best in store so I decided to give them a try. Installed them in my 98 Jeep Cherokee by replacing two rear 5 1/4 base model Pioneers (paid like $30-40 which I think Best Buy still sells them). They sound awesome (power running off of a 2010 model JVC CD player, no dedicated amp). Now I'm wanting another pair for the front door speakers which are also the base model pioneers... Hopefully this Cyber Monday I can get them for $49.99 again. Overall great speakers and the best I've heard for under $100.

price is right for these speakers.. they are an exceptional replacement for my door speakers in my Buick Enclave. Factory speakers, unless Bose, are always suspect and these are a good choice to replace them. of course the other 8 will have to struggle along until there is a need to replace them as well.. Since I am the one driving and listening to the radio I believe I need these first.

These speakers are nice sounding and easy to install. Used them to replace blown speakers in a 2000 Blazer. Good price for a solid product.

Great sound. Good bass & crisp highs. Nice compliment to JBL components.

Replaced the OEM Harley Boom speakers with these. They fit the factory holes perfectly using the factory grills. Instant improvement, but with a 180 watt Rocker amp everything is awesome.

the speakers sound great were easy to install and were definitely worth the money I spent, I would not hesitate to purchase them again. they sound like much larger speakers than they actually are. I have already recommended them to a friend who is in the market for some replacements for the speakers in his truck,

Replaced factory speakers in my truck with these and they sound great. Very easy to install, especially with adapter harness to connect right to factory wiring harness in vehicle

Replaced the door speakers with these JBL's. Have not replaced the rear speakers yet. Tremendous improvement over the stock speakers Will be using these for the rear and adding amp as well. Easy to install

I bought these because sound quality was superior to kickers. When I opened the box I was surprised to find a mounting bracket. The bracket fit perfect on the sound bar. No cutting old speaker to make it fit. Excellent fit to the jk and clear sound.

I used these to replace the speakers in my daughter's mini cooper. They had smaller ones mounted but with a Dremel tool and slight modifications to the car mounts, they went in perfectly. Comes with lots of mounting options in the box which helped. These speakers sound freaking awesome. Their slogan "hear the truth" is spot on! Every single sound is crystal. From deep bass to crisp highs and everything in between, anything you throw at these speakers they can take and blow you away! I paired these with JBL GX963's and I couldn't be happier with the clarity of music in my car.

I consulted with Audio Installer Mike Pieceynski Best Buy store 1451 for my 2016 Nissan crew 4door. I knew I wanted to use the Alpine PDX 400w amp instead of replacing my factory head and a compact sub under the seat. He suggested the JBL BassPro 8” sub and JBL 6x9 3 ways in the front door panels and JBL 6.5 2 ways in the rear. I wanted clarity, every acoustical detail, like a live stage. He set the door speakers to mid and high only and w/ bass phased out of them. I listen to music using high end Sennheiser headphones and the reproduction of this setup in my truck is amazing (proper acoustic staging in an auto is impossible) but this sounds pretty awesome. It sounds like the bass is coming from the speakers but its coming from the rear sub. It’s not booming bass. Its accurate studio recorded bass. Vocals are clear and in front, guitars soar. Keyboards and percussion are separated, and bass is solid on the bottom. Not all albums are produced the same, some good and some muddy, but this delivers clean live studio sound across almost all genres (I listen to a lot of West Coast Reggae, Rock, etc and equalizer set to Dance). The JBL speakers are awesome. Not sure how they sound stock without the bass phased out but I would recommend them. I did massive research on all the high-end brands and these offer value and quality!

I love to listen to my music loudly and these JBL speakers deliver that and then some. They handle the base far better than I thought they would.

Bought two sets of these for my son’s car. We tried several at the store, but in the end these sounded great and had a lot of bass, which is what my son was looking for. They have a great price for the set too.

Needed new speakers for my truck. The person working the area recommended these over the original ones which I chose. They work and sound great. Vary easy to install with the help of a friend. The price was right, great referral and glad that I made that decision.
