Customer Ratings & Reviews

Avid music listener not yet a audiophile. Best headphones especially with the Custom EQs available through the JBL app. Great instrument separation and nice lows.

Absolutely great purchase my wife bought a pair and it was amazing, so I got a pair for myself!! It definitely beats the apple airpods max by a mile with price and quality. Whether its travel, Mowing the lawn, a jog, or just relaxing listening to music, it's great for it all with the noise cancelling and great sound quality!! It's an added bonus that you can pair them to each other to listen to the same music or same movie on the go.

The sound quality is great. They're not particularly loud, but all around solid headphones. The option to use them as wired or wireless headphones is pretty nice too.

I purchased these to go to the gym. I wanted something different than ear buds that can fly out of my ears when working out. I also wanted something that fully blocked the surrounding noise. I don't need to hear others grunting because they're trying to lift too much weight. Anyhow, these have a dual action noise system. You can full block noise or you can have ambient aware (it lets in outside noise). With these, I can still have a full conversation and hear the other person while still wearing them and listening to music. Also, the sound is superb. Highly recommend this product.

Great battery life. The noise cancelling works well. They are very comfortable and the overall functionality is good as well. Highly recommended.

The battery on this is seriously amazing\! I literally only have to charge it once a week. The sound quality is really good too, and I love the app and its features.

I Had high hopes for these headphones.Mostly due to good reviews.Build quality is pretty good,Very comfortable to wear.Mids and treble are spot on great.Sadly the bass is lacking in the sub bass part.Never could EQ them to bring it up.Returned and got the awesome sennheiser momentum 5 headphones

I bought these headphones back in December and have been using them every day since, the sound quality is really good, really deep bass, noise canceling blocks out everything, the weight feels very light that I almost forget I’m wearing them, I can go almost two whole days before I need to charge, I highly recommend getting these headphones.

These are by far the best headphones offered by best buy. The only headphones I would consider to be better are the Focal Bathys and the Bower and Wilkins px7 s3. The price is high but it is justified by wonderful sound quality as long as you are willing to work with the EQ settings, endless customization, an included wireless receiver, high quality microphone phone quality, great comfort, and excellent transparency mode. Hands down would buy this again over the Sony XM6 and the Bose ultra comfort.

Compared to sony's xm5/xm6 jbl has bigger driver to provide more bass. These have bright sound stage compared to sony's muffled sound out of the box. If i had compare to loudspeakers, id compare them to Klipsch, these are bright and packs punch for bass.

Don't believe the "hype"... these headphones beat Apple/Beats versions of their top models hands down. Plus the multi-BlueTooth connections are great and ambient sound mode surpasses the other 2 models mentioned. JBL knocks it out again with this updated 2025 Aviator release.

The sound is amazing. I'm not an audiophile so I am not speaking of quality of, lows mids and highs like other people. But the way the music feels, especially high ress tracks both wireless and with cable connection is amazing. The best I have tried so far

Although these headphones are comfortable to wear for many hours, for the price I find that the noise canceling capabilities are not the best. I like that I can choose between ambient noise and noise canceling. I also like that I can pause, skip a song and adjust the volume all on the headphones themselves.

Noise canceling is great. Very comfortable and incredible sound quality. Excellent puechase

They are excellent, every bit of what I expected, good base also.

The Smart Tx transmitter is a game changer that allows me to retain the quality and functionality of these headphones no matter what. Whether using a plane’s entertainment system or a game console. The sound quality, especially when I set the eq setting to (jazz) and utilize spatial sound for movies really gives these headphones such amazing clarity, deep and rich bass, and organic vocals. These settings is something I use continuously for movies and music. I just can’t believe how much I can hear and the spatial sound is the best in my opinion. The noise cancellation and transparency is definitely up there with the Airpods Max and Sony - WH100XM6 which is really incredible. Worth the price!

GREAT SOUND JUST WISH IT WAS LOUDER LOL A QUALITY PRODUCT FOR SURE

[Employee of bestbuy] Very solid headphones with great battery life and detailed sound.

Bought the headphones, sound very good, but everything else is not good, 1. the smart transmitter/controller crashes all the time 2. the headphones occasionally turn off by itself in the middle of a song 3. occasional dropouts at times on bluetooth connection 4. will not hold the spatial settings on power off, everytime power on must go to the jbl app to reset them, 5. the jbl app to control settings will not download on a apple mac, only will download to a iphone/ipad (choose not to opt-in the app to a mac). the headphones sound OK, will return these phones

The battery life is awsome and the clarity and the bigger driver is great
