works pretty well

Bought as part of a large kitchen remodel. Paired with induction cooktop on kitchen island. Actually works well for clearing cooking smells. Probably not as efficient as an overhead vent, however, it was a great compromise for us so we could keep cooktop on island without an obstructive vent hanging from ceiling. This is very powerful, and actually works better than I expected. Keeps our kitchen nice and open. Nice that it disappears when not needed.
