Q: Does this range have down draft feature?

A: Yes, if it is a Jenn Air model JES1750FS. This and the Kitchenaid KSEG950ESS are the only down draft ranges made.

Q: I have an old Jenn air downdraft model JES9860aab can the new ones JES1750 fs be hooked up to the old venting system?

A: I replaced an old Jennair down draft with a new model. I was able to re- use the air ducting that I had installed under the floor for the first down draft. The good news is that the new fan is stronger.

Q: Is the top induction?

A: undefined

Q: Does the Ductfree Airfilter eliminate the need for Ducting? Where is it installed? Does it need any other prepwork?

A: Please note, the "Duct free" filter is a product sold separately. It does not refer to the range itself, but sounds as if it can be used instead of ducting. That is the purpose of my question, thanks
