I called Best Buy and got a hold of someone claiming to be a representative. You can't contact actual retail store anymore. Cust asst (barely spoke english) advised me on the unit to purchase, and said installation was $99 at the local retail store. Made appt for installation and showed up at appt time at my local retail store. Installer informs me that they are only a 'level 1' installer and this unit requires a 'level 2' installer, which is only available at the Best Buy store 30 miles away. Made another appt for installation for 2 weeks later. Showed up at that Best Buy store for 1pm appt. Was told installation was 1 hour. Installer was finally finished at 4pm. He told me installation was $150 + tax. I informed him that 'customer service' told me installation was $99 if I purchased the unit through Best Buy, which I did. He wouldn't budge. Said I can't prove it. So I paid more $. I had to drive an additional 30 miles for installation, waited 3 hours instead of 1 hour as I was initially told, and was over-charged for installation. The old 'bait and switch' operation. I'll never buy anything from Best Buy and I'll tell everyone I know how they scammed me. With this kind of poor service and price scamming, its just a matter of time until they go out of business...
