Jim James - Wowed Out - Clear Pink - VINYL LP

Limited vinyl LP pressing of this 2001 album from the Arizona-based emo rock band. Jimmy Eat World exemplify all that is the modern radio rock sound. Singing and playing with a conviction and sincerity that will melt the heart of even the most stoic of listeners, they produce rousing, well-crafted anthems along the lines of Third Eye Blind at their roughest or a more polished Green Day. These guys appear to be able to write ready-made singles at the drop of a hat, as evidenced by InchYour HouseInch as well as the title track. In fact, there is a rather shocking maturity to their material that belies the band members' ages (all in their 20s). Overall, Jimmy Eat World give the people what they want with Bleed American. Album Tracks 1. Bleed American 2. A Praise Chorus - Vocals - Davey Vonbohlen* 3. The Middle 4. Your House 5. Sweetness 6. Hear You Me 1. If You Don't, Don't 2. Get It Faster 3. Cautioners 4. The Authority Song 5. My Sundown 6. Splash Turn Twist

Twink (born John Alder and now known as Mohammed Abdullah) is an English drummer, actor, singer, and songwriter who was a central figure in the English psychedelic movement. Starting out in The Fairies in 1964, Twink joined The In-Crowd in 1966 which included Steve Howe on guitar. The band changed it's name to Tomorrow and producer Joe Boyd has cited one of their shows at the legendary UFO Club in London, and Twink's performance in particular, as the zenith of 60's pop culture. Following the break up of Tomorrow, Twink joined The Pretty Things becoming famous for his on-stage antics, climbing the speaker stacks and diving into the audience. Towards the end of his time with The Pretty Things, Twink recorded his first solo album Think Pink which was released in 1970. Supporting musicians included The Deviants, Paul Rudolph on guitar, Duncan Sanderson, and Steve Peregrin Took (of Tyrannosaurus Rex).
