Live at Monterey is a posthumous live album released on October 16, 2007. It contains Hendrix's performance with his band, The Jimi Hendrix Experience, at the 1967 Monterey Pop Festival. The album is similar to the Reprise Jimi Plays Monterey, released in 1986. Eddie Kramer mixed this version. Virtually unknown to American audiences at the time, even though he was already an established entity in the UK, Hendrix and his two-piece Experience explode on stage, ripping through blues classics InchRock Me BabyInch and Howlin' Wolf's InchKilling Floor, Inch interpreting and electrifying Bob Dylan's InchLike a Rolling Stone, Inch debuting songs from his yet-to-be-released first album and closing with the now historic sacrificing/burning of his guitar during an unhinged version of InchWild ThingInch. Limited vinyl LP repressing in gatefold jacket. Off the Wall is the fifth solo studio album by Michael Jackson. It was released on August 10, 1979, following Jackson's critically well-received film performance in The Wiz. While working on that project, Jackson and Quincy Jones had become friends, and Jones agreed to work with Jackson on his next studio album. Recording sessions took place between December 1978 and June 1979 at Allen Zentz Recording, Westlake Recording Studios, and Cherokee Studios in Los Angeles, California. Jackson collaborated with a number of other writers and performers such as Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder and Rod Temperton. Five singles were released from the album. It was released on August 31, 1987, nearly five years after Jackson's previous studio album, Thriller. Bad was recorded during the first half of 1987.
