Customer Ratings & Reviews

These earbuds are the only ones I've had in my life that actually stay in/on the whole time I'm using them. I do virtual work and need headphones. As a therapist, it is very disruptive to the process what an earbud slips out when a client is mid sentence. They are snug without being too tight, charge very quickly, and the sound quality and noise cancellation make my work a breeze! These were totally worth the cost and I'll absolutely get them again if need be!

The JLab Flex are a fantastic find – especially if you're like me and don’t like the feeling of in-ear buds. These are open-style earbuds, which means they don’t go inside your ears – and that’s a huge win for comfort and awareness. Comfort: Super light and you barely feel them. Since they rest outside the ear canal, there's no pressure or soreness even after hours of use. Perfect for people who hate traditional in-ear designs. Situational Awareness: This is what makes them amazing – you can still hear what’s going on around you. Great for walks, bike rides, commuting, or working in shared spaces where you want to stay alert. Sound: Even though they’re open, the sound is surprisingly clear and well-balanced. You won’t get super deep bass like in-ear models, but the mids and highs are solid, and they sound great for calls, music, and podcasts. Battery: Long-lasting with a small, stylish case. I use them throughout the day and rarely need to recharge more than once or twice a week. Mic Quality: Calls are crystal clear, and people can hear me even outside or in noisy areas.

Great for workouts with running. I love how it fits and the battery life. Only con is the music volume. Even though it doesnt sit in ear, it should be higher. Phone calls are loud. Great investment to do all physical activities.

Bought this for my wife so she can listen to her music and Kpop drama while doing thing, she really like it always on her ears she sometimes forgot that the earbud is there, i tried it just to hear the sound, its really goo for it's intended use, definitely not for serious listening

These earbuds are excellent, the don't fall out ofnmy ears during any strenuous activities and the sound is crisp and clear. 10 out of 10.

Cheap, great sound, stays on during gym workouts and doesnt get loose when running, perfect for what i need, havent had anything wrong with them so far

I expected nothing and got so much more. Genuinely expected to use it for 2 months before they break to get my moneys worth considering theyre 50 bucks but i had to leave a review after I just found them after leaving them in my pants through a washer and a dryer and fhey still charge too. Ive dropped them a dozen times walking biking etc. and they still work just like the day I bought em. I also have been using them at least 40 hrs a week as I use them throughout work for the past 6 months so they have been used, beaten, washed, and dried and are not slowing down. I WOULD HIGHLY RECCOMEND but Also! I did see a review of them not fitting in the case but they were put in backwards and that was user error. The left only fits in the left and right in right.

They are very practical, I recommend them because they do not bother my ear, they can be heard very well and are of good quality, the price is also appropriate

These earbuds are great, especially for their price point. I hate having earbuds stuck in my ears. Maybe it's me, but they've never been comfortable no matter how many I've tried. These don't go inside your ears but the sound quality is still excellent. I personalized my case with washi tape just so they weren't plain black and I can find them more easily.

Wow! I was skeptical at first but this ingredient won me over quick. The open ear concept was new to me. I like the flexible of being able to take calls while still being alert with my surrounds. The sound is crisp and clear and the battery lasts my entire 8 hour shift at work

Not perfect but they their job, sound quality it's ok, little lack of bass, battery lasts a week, at fist they don't feel comfortable however you geit used to it. The case is getting some scratches for putting in my pockets with my keys.

Love the product just loose in my earlobes. Should make them in different sizes for people with smaller heads

These keep getting better and better. I was impressed by the sound of them and the price but when I saw a pic of me with them in my ear I was just over the top impressed! They look like cute edgy earrings and fit for my whole presence!

I love my ear buds. They are light weight, I don’t feel them at all. Sometimes I sleep with one in my ear, they are so comfortable.

Excellent! Good for price, sounds are clear i download the app and its easy to use, you can adjust and modify

Hi all, this is tge best ever sound i have heard in my life.

They work so well The quality of the sound is great on my JLab

I liked them a lot; they don't go too far into your ear, which I think helps prevent ear infections.

Outside of their Epic line, I think JLab has got to be the top of budget-friendly earbud makers. The Flex is no exception. They are an unusual style, when I showed them to my coworkers they were polarizing, either they loved the look or they hated them. I don’t mind they look and I think they’re pretty comfortable but I do have a problem with the design. Since the tap buttons are on the back of my ears, if I shrug my shoulders or turn my head fully left or right, it takes it as a tap or long press and changes the volume or skips a track. You can’t really turn them where they don’t get pressed either, they need to be turned a certain way to point the sound into your ears for the best sound. My wife tried them and had the same issue. So my advice is try them in person and see how they fit you. It’s not a deal breaker but it is kind of annoying. Sound quality is good, little light on bass, definitely download the JLab app and switch the eq to the JLab Signature Sound mode or tweak your own custom mode since the default mode was a little tinny IMHO. These do stay in place well and I like the open air style earbuds over an in-ear bud in transparent mode, I feel like I’m better connected to my surroundings with the open air style. Battery life is great, 7+ hours and the case holds about two more full charges for 21+ hours of use. For the price, if you like the style, I think you’ll be happy with them.

The JLab Flex Open-Clip True Wireless Earbuds present an intriguing option in the saturated market of wireless audio devices. With an innovative design aimed at providing comfort and convenience, these earbuds succeed in some areas while falling short in others. Here’s a breakdown of their strengths and weaknesses. Pros: Fast Charging: One of the standout features of these earbuds is their impressive fast-charging capability. In a world where time is money, being able to quickly recharge these earbuds is a definite plus. Innovative Design: The open-clip design is unique and caters to those who prefer an earbud that doesn’t fully isolate them from their environment. This is particularly useful for users who need to stay aware of their surroundings, such as during outdoor activities or at work. Good Sound for Price: While they may not compete with higher-end models, the sound quality is respectable for the price range. Users can expect clear audio that works well for phone calls and casual listening. Affordability: Priced competitively, these earbuds provide decent performance without breaking the bank, making them accessible to a wide audience. Customizable Settings: The Android and iOS app allows users to tailor their audio experience, offering customizable sound profiles that can enhance the overall listening experience. Simple Pairing: The straightforward pairing process with smartphones ensures that even those who are not tech-savvy can enjoy these earbuds without hassle. No Lagging: A reliable connectivity experience enhances their appeal, particularly for those who might want to use them for video or gaming. Cons: Plastic Quality: The plastic construction feels cheap and could be improved to ensure durability and a more premium feel. Lacks Bass: Despite the customizable EQ settings, users may find the bass to be underwhelming. This might not satisfy those who enjoy bass-heavy genres of music. Uncomfortable Shape: The odd shape can lead to discomfort during extended wear, akin to the feel of clip-on earrings, which may deter users looking for long-lasting comfort. Finding the Right Fit: The open-clip design can make it challenging to find the optimal position within the ear for the best sound experience, leading to inconsistencies in audio quality. Short USB Cable: The provided USB cable is impractically short, which could limit charging options or necessitate an additional purchase for those who prefer longer cables. Challenging Charging Design: The USB connector's placement under the case can be somewhat inconvenient, especially when trying to charge on the go. Inconsistent Touch Controls: The tapping feature for controls can be hit-or-miss, resulting in frustrating experiences when attempting to pause or skip tracks. Verdict: Overall, the JLab Flex Open-Clip True Wireless Earbuds are a solid option, particularly for users who value awareness of their surroundings while listening to music or taking calls. The original design is a major selling point, though it comes with its own set of challenges, especially in terms of comfort and sound quality. They fit well into a work environment where multitasking is essential, but potential buyers are encouraged to try them out before purchasing to ensure a comfortable fit. For those looking for an affordable, versatile option, JLab has delivered a product that, despite its shortcomings, would serve well in everyday scenarios.
