I've had a GorillaPod in the past, some 8 years ago, and used it with my DSLR and GoPro cameras to great avail. This time I made the purchase as I have a portable 15" monitor that is 2lbs with a tripod mount screw hole in the back and I wanted some flexibility in its position when in use. This GorillaPod more than meets my needs by far! The legs are not difficult to position for the best support and don't creep at all once positioned. It's rated to hold 2.2lbs and my monitor is 2lbs. I have the threaded camera mount turned to screw into the back of my monitor while keeping it upright instead of the mount pointing straight up like you would for a camera. It's still supporting my monitor with nothing but this tripod and on top of my soundbar no less after several days with one of the legs bent in what you might think is a slightly awkward position, yet there is still no shifting or creep in the tripod's position! Heck I even have an external conference webcam on top of my monitor now and it's still going great. The included phone holder is great, but with one mild gripe. The release lever on the back is very very difficult to pull free the first time and any time it's fully latched. Otherwise everything is great.

Everything was in the box and in good condition. Have had this for about a month now. Really easy to use, light weight, and sturdy. One thing I noticed is the ring plushie ring around screw has started to come off, even though I don’t use it daily. So keep in mind for the price it’s great for those in a pinch but in the future you might want to upgrade.

A small yet sturdy tripod great for trips and travel. It’s light and small form factor don’t compromise the utility of it whatsoever. However, the reason for 4/5 stars is because the screw that connects the phone clamp to the tripod base is too short. As such, if you rotate the clamp too much it can loosen itself from the base, and then you’d be at risk of the clamp that’s holding your phone from falling off the tripod.

I was contemplating getting a tripod for a while but wasn't sure which would be best for me. After reading reviews online, I learned Joby was the top brand and boy I am I glad I listened to them! This tripod is so great and sturdy. I also really like how adaptable it is. I can use my digital camera or I can use my phone with the phone mount that is included in this bundle. It's so worth the price! Also I ordered this online and it got to my house the next day!!! What luck!

Flexible as well as sturdy. Was able to steady my compact camera by holding the tripod while taking a micro shot. Creates the possibility of shooting from multiple angles. Happy.

When you bend the legs around something this mount REALLY holds on! The spring loaded clamp that comes on this mount is very good and will hold your phone. I put it around my Jeep headrest and smacked it a couple times and it held solid! However i already purchased a Joby Tough mount for this one which is going on it soon!

Great product, very sturdy. I was ordering cheaper ones from Amazon and they would always break so this is def worth the price. The only thing that I didn’t like is it gets loose at the top but all you have to do is scree it back

Used this for my DJI Pocket 3 and it holds great on virtually anything, including guard rails, fences, and more!

My desk and monitor setup does not allow a normal clip on Webcam to stay attached to the top of a monitor. Since my monitor is mounted and there is clearance behind the monitor, I was able to mount this tripod's flexible legs to the mount hardware and screw the Webcam into the top of the tripod. Works great!

Very easy to use as well as flexible. It’s a great quality tripod that can you can bring with you anywhere. Would definitely recommend it to a friend!

Very good stand, only a little too ridged at times

This is awesome for a phone!!! I don’t think using it for a professional camera is good. Weight of camera tends to be heavy, making it move forward when trying to set up for specific shots. The wrappings legs have small rubber rings allowing more grip. The foot also have rubber boots for grip. The ball head is removable as well. Never needed to take it off tho. All in all well built. I tend to use it a lot.

Very disappointed with the vertical grip. Horizontal grip is reasonable. Your phone will definitely slide and drop while the position is vertical. Phone mount comes with the GorillaPod. Very disappointed with the gripping capability. The GorillaPod itself is sturdy, multifunctional and multi directional. If you have digital camera then you can fix it with the pod by screwing. My purpose of the purchase was mobile photography and videography as well as travel vlogging. But very first time my iPhone 11 Pro slipped and screen is cracked with dents in the body. What else should I say ??!!! If you have DSLR camera then it’s okay otherwise FOR PHONE it’s a BIG NO.

Do to computer issues I'd been forced to use my cell phone more and more for email and web browsing duties. This is a perfect tool for desk use integration. Keeps your hands free and at close to eye level. I love it's infinite adjustability! Great product!
