Joe Hisaishi / Royal Philharmonic Orchestra - A Symphonic Celebration - Music From The Studio Ghibli Films Of Hayao - Hitchock and Herrmann, Spielberg and Williams, Zemeckis and Silvestri, Burton and Elfman, Fellini and Rota. There's a certain kind of magic that happens when a director and composer work together for an extended period; their imaginations are fueled by an artistic sensibility which becomes, inevitably, entwined. Such deep understanding between two artists has proffered memorable, even legendary, cinemusical experiences. But there's another of these partnerships we must honor and mention in the same breath, that of director Hayao Miyazaki and composer Joe Hisaishi. Album Tracks 1. Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind 2. Kiki's Delivery Service 3. Princess Mononoke 4. The Wind Rises 5. Ponyo on the Cliff By the Sea 6. Castle in the Sky 7. Porco Rosso 8. Howl's Moving Castle 9. Triple yellow colored vinyl LP pressing. Mac Miller has accomplished every goal he ever set for himself. At least that's what the magazines say about the Pittsburgh kid, and they're right enough. With his first album he became a grassroots rap megastar. With his second he bared his weird soul and was praised for it. His 11 mixtapes boast a couple bucket lists' worth of collaborators, from Bun B and Kendrick Lamar to Rick Ross and Juicy J. And in the same year that he toured the U.S. backed by a psychedelic soul band, he rapped all over Europe with Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz. He did indie. He's doing major. He even bought himself a ridiculous house in the Los Angeles hills and made a TV show about it. Hell, he made a jazz record. Album Tracks 1. Inside Outside 2. Here We Go 3.
