So, I have to start this by saying that Juice, as a movie, gets a 4-4.5 stars, but I have to bump it all the way to a 5 because of how good Paramount's 4K scan looks. Juice is a great, gritty urban crime thriller, offering a great look into life in a 90's New York burrow. Juice follows more in the thriller/noir vein than some of it's contemporary gangster films like Menace II Society. The cast is great, especially a young 2Pac, who is fantastic as a paranoia-filled youth that becomes increasingly unhinged as the movie progresses. Juice also has an incredible soundtrack featuring Eric B. & Rakim, EPMD, Big Daddy Kane, and Naughty by Nature, among others.

As stated this is one of Tupac's greatest roles ever. Not only did he act as a homeboy in the beginning he also acted as a villain to his people in the end. With him Raheem steel and Q. Bishop added to the pure flare of this movie. It goes down as one of the top hip hop movies of all time. We had this on regular DVD but bought the Blu-ray version not only because this is in the top 10 of movies in our opinion but it was also enhance in picture and audio quality. I'd highly recommend this for not only Tupac fans but fans of the hip hop John genre.

Not like I remember. I am a very big 90s hip-hop movie fan. From boys in the hood to menace to society, you name it I’ve seen it. I have fond memories of this movie, but re-watching it reminds me just how far movie writing has come since the mid 90s

Juice the classic tale of betrayal among friends. You get a bone chilling performance from the late great rapper/actor Tupac, the great acting and debut of great actor Omar Epps. A must watch for any hip hip, urban story aficionado
