JURA - J8 twin Automatic Single Serve Coffee Maker and Espresso Machine - Diamond White

Love this Coffee machine Jura J8 Twin. Did a lot of research and compared the best of Jura, Breville, Delonghi, and a few others and chose Jura J8 Twin for its quality, looks, features, and ease of use despite the price being higher than the others. Just fill the hopper with your favorite coffee beans and choose your coffee from the touchscreen menu. You can either use the default settings or customize the coffee (mild, strong), milk level, etc. The machine does all the work very quickly! The remote order feature is awesome. The machine connects to your WiFi (or BlueTooth on your mobile device) and let's you customize your drink via the Jura mobile app and collect it at the machine! It self cleans by selecting rinse from the touch screen menu. This is listed at $3500 vs the next in line Jura Z8 for $4000. Jura should've made the J8 the top of line model instead of Z8 IMHO since it has two hoppers instead of one in Z8, double grinders instead of one for Z8, makes Sweet Coffee which Z8 doesn't do, and has a larger touchscreen than Z8. The only thing it doesn't do is do cold brews that Z8 does. Also bought the Glass Milk Container and the metal tube from Amazon, and the Jura Glacette Black (Part number M-123117) which houses the Glass Milk Container from MetroKitchen.com for for $72 since Amazon only had the White one.

It's expensive, but worth it if you can afford it. This machine does it all. We upgraded from an older Jura because all Juras make great espresso and coffee, but I love that this one has two hoppers. We put decaf in one of them so now we have the ability to make a decaf, caf, or half-caf with the push of a button. And the sweet latte device (unique to this model and its non-twin sibling, the J8) mixes the perfect flavored coffee drinks. I never bothered with milk drinks on the old one because cleaning was such a pain. But the J8 twin automates that. So now we make them all the time. Amazing machine!

I’ve been using the JURA J8 Twin Automatic Coffee Maker for a little while now, and overall I’m very impressed. The standout feature for me is the dual grinder system, it’s incredibly convenient to keep two different types of beans loaded (I use regular and decaf), and switching between them is seamless. There is a bit of a learning curve, but it’s fairly easy to use. The touchscreen is intuitive, and once you get the basics down, it becomes very simple. If you want to take full advantage of all the features, you may need to spend a little time learning, but it’s worth it. The quality of the coffee is consistently good, with rich flavor and a nice crema, especially for a fully automatic machine. If you’re a latte lover, especially if you enjoy hot lattes, this machine really shines. The milk foam is very fine, and I’ve been especially impressed with the overall latte quality. One feature I’m less impressed with is the sweet foam function. If you’re considering this machine specifically for that feature, it’s just okay in my experience. The syrup doesn’t always blend as well as I’d like in such a short time, so I find it better to add syrup separately. Build quality feels solid as well. Compared to the JURA E8, which uses a hook-style water container, the J8 uses a magnetic system. It’s easier to handle and eliminates the issue of the container being misaligned. In terms of noise, it’s not that quiet, it’s about what you’d expect from a coffee shop machine, but it’s not overly disruptive either. On the downside, maintenance is something you need to stay on top of, especially the milk system. Regular cleaning (ideally daily for the milk components) is important to keep everything running smoothly. Overall, if you love coffee and want to enjoy high-quality drinks at home without waiting in long drive-thru lines, this machine is absolutely worth it. It really does feel like having a coffee shop at home.

Great Coffee machine! The only draw back is the instruction booklet could be more detailed on how to make certain coffee's on the menu screen. Although, there are plenty of Youtube videos to watch that are very helpful.

I love this machine; however, the programming is a learning curve. The output and quality of the coffee is superior to anything I've had. The twin coffee grinders is a must for me as I enjoy the flexibility to make a decaf or even 50/50 for instances when I'm on my third cup or drinking a latte in the pm hours.
