This game is awesome! If you like to creatively blow things up, this game is for you. From flying and grappling, from collecting vehicles to guns, this game packs an entertaining and cinematic punch. There is plenty to do, from discovering new settlements to mini missions to unlock mods. The main story should not be your main focus. I recommend you take back settlements. That is the number one priority. Enjoy.

Ok first off I am a fan of the Just Cause series so I was going to like this game no matter what. I love all that this game stands on as far as blowing stuff up! It's just a fun game to just do whatever and see what you can do. My reason for giving this 4 stars Pros 1. Just a blast to play 2. Can't stop blowing thing up just too fun 3. Large map 4. Wing suit is my favorite 5. The things you can do with a grappling hook Cons 1. Graphics are so so but good enough 2. Hand to hand combat lacks 3. Glitches here and there 4. Long load up times 5. Driving is not fun

This is a silly, over the top explosion simulator. Just Cause has a shallow and forgettable story, with boring characters and dull missions. However, this game is amazing due to the insane scale of destruction, huge explosions and large Arsenal of weapons. On Xbox One, this game has loooooong load times and an inconsistent frame rate. I personally did not experience these issues to the degree others reported, though I amp laying on an Xbox One Elite which has a faster SSD Hard Drive installed. Turn your mind off and shoot everything colored red. It's great!

If you love explosions and wacky physics this is the game for you. With an absolutely massive open world and tons of side objectives you won't run out of things to do. Overall this is a great game, just don't expect a super serious story.

There are crazy loading that takes minutes, but for me, this game is so great. Especially, explosions look amazing. The game gives you a lot of freedom and has such an open physics model that allows you to beat stages in unlimited way.

For those that like open world and destruction games like Far Cry or Assassins creed series then this is a must have. Some may argue that GTA done first but where can you fly in a plane, jump out as you send it into an enemy camp to self destruct, parachute on to a moving jeep, kick out it's driver and finish the job by shoot-n-driving over those that remain. This game is just that crazy.(check out YouTube for some montages). And if have to choose which system go for the Xbox one as it comes with Download for previous gen's Just Cause 2.

Extremely fun and over the top. The tether system is the most satisfying mechanic I've used in a video game in a long time. The gameplay is pretty solid; I feel as though the character does what I expect him to do. The gunplay is a little loose but I rarely resort to guns. Load times are loooong. Graphics are great and the size of this game is unreal. I flew a plane to a distant island and it took about 5 full minutes to reach it. Between loads and iffy gun controls, I can't say it's a perfect game. Overall, it is extremely fun.

Graphics are good, gameplay is good, explosions are excellent. Unfortunately, the load times can be excruciatingly long.

This game was fun to play and the map was decent size. The open game play was also nice as you could roam the map.

I first played Just Cause 2 because it was free on the 360 and had so much fun running around the island blowing stuff up. Just Cause 3 uses the power of the Xbox One and takes it to the next level. You are the same character Rico and have to take control of your own island this time. The explosions you can cause are much better than part 2 and the game is massive. I have over 40 hours and still have plenty to do.

It doesnt take itself to seriously and the controls are easy enough for a pick up and put down type of game. I play it in spurts, when I want a break from either story driven or multiplayer games. It does have long load times and stutters when the everything is going chaotic in the game. But those are overlooked for how fun the game is.

It throws you into the craziest of scenarios, just cause. It definitely ups the ante in pure Just Cause fashion. The load times aren't too bad, but definitely not the best, considering the generation of games and with graphical marvels like The Witcher 3, having a practically seamless open world. All in all, good chaotic fun

Purchased as.a gift for son for holidays. He had Just Cause 2 and played it a lot so I thought he would enjoy the next release in the series. He picked up right where he left off. The game has good graphics and a lot of action but the stunts are a little unrealistic. He enjoys the game and that is what matters.

Great game, albeit with a few minor (in my experience, anyway) issues. I've only had a couple of the framerate drops and only 1 excessive load time with about 35% completion. It built on the good stuff from 2, but is bigger and better.

I was on the edge about this purchase but not anymore. I love the action you get in this game! The explosions are great and vehicular warfare is awesome. So glad i purchased and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good, fun game! Also like the wing suit to get around everywhere haha

Good game, incredible map and gorgeous landscape, sadly cities are scarce and small, action can be repetitive but yet its pretty much fun just to wreck chaos and find new ways to do it too. and the possibility to win your own island is just icing on the cake

After playing Just Cause 2, I couldn't wait to get to play Just Cause 3 once it was first announced. Just like Just Cause 2, the map in Just Cause 3 is huge giving you more area to wreak havoc in. Though the weapon variety is small, vehicle, sea-, and aircrafts is large with anything from a moped to a fully armed tank. The main downfall to Just Cause 3 is the same is the 2nd which was it's lack of variety in terms of objectives, missions, challenges, etc. Missions don't even necessarily feel special what-so-ever, just do what you do when you're free-roaming; blow up everything and kill all the militia. If you're one for a more story driven game, Just Cause 3 probably wouldn't be the best sandbox for you. However, if you're one for sitting back to just destroy everything 'just cause' in a casual manner, this is your game.

This game plays very similar to grand theft auto. Overall I like the game as you are a one man army with lots of tools and wepons. Free roaming world were everything will blow up. Keeps you entertained.

I bought this game solely because of the gameplay footage I saw with the character using a grappling line, wingsuit, and parachute to rapidly traverse the landscape in a very unique parkour style. I had never played the previous Just Cause games but I can say I really really like this one. You can grapple and fly around for a long time without getting bored. It's a lot of fun and very unique. No other game has ever done something quite like this that I know of.
