I have a old school car that didn’t come with a car play or anything and that was one of the main things I wanted when looking for a car so I was excited when I found out I was able to get this installed. It’s easy to use, it’s so many different cool features on it. I love that I can customize it to my own feel with the custom background. I can connect my phone and do car play if I still wanted to. Speed of everything is great and I’ve had no problems with it so far.

I really wanted to upgrade my radio in my car because the radio wasn't working but the Bluetooth still worked but eventually my entire radio went and because i do rideshare i needed it replaced as soon as possible. This radio wasnt my first choice but its what i could afford at the moment and i will say its really good. The only issues i have is for some reason it wont hook up to my android auto wirelessly i had to buy a wire which is fine but i also hate where the volume controls are. Especially when im driving i cannot see the button i wish they were on the top or on the passenger side, bare minimum atleast voice volume control or come with a remote. I will post a picture of what it looks like from my view in the drivers seat.

Overall satisfied with the radio and has all the functionality I was looking for. I was able to add a USB adapter for wireless CarPlay. The only issue I’ve had is the volume buttons stop at 14 when you press and hold then you have to press repeatedly to reach full volume. But once I updated the firmware for the steering wheel controls it resolved my issue.

This is a great head unit for my Volkswagen Passat 2013,Apple CarPlay is awesome especially we have a great sound system that works well. I have a back up camera with mine and had Best Buy install it for me. And I’m loving it so far this is a great purchase for my car.

Was nervous to install at very first due to my older radio breaking down, but ever since I’ve installed the JVC radio it has made my life much easier to answer calls and see the reverse camera and get the best type of option like a newer car would had in my Toyota RAV4!!!

Replaced a dead old radio in a 2011 aveo, works great! I like the motion controls for controlling volume and skipping songs.

Works great! Got a quick, cheap, and amazing install! The installation crew was spot on with their ETA and super friendly and helpful!

The product so far is very good! Unfortunately for me, I saw the picture of the rear camera and I thought it was included, but it is not. Now, I am trying to add the rear camera and I have to pay $199.

I am completely satisfied with all the features of the JVC car play system. The built-in amp makes Spotify music sound awesome even with the original base speakers in a 2002 GMC Sierra. GPS mapping and backup camera monitor are also exceeded expectations.

Stephen was super helpful in guiding me on the right unit for my car. He set up the installation and while it took a bit more time to install they did a good job. The original steering wheel interface didn't seem to work but I called and they swapped it out for a working model and now everything functions like it should. The guys were knowledgable and polite. I'd give it 5 stars if it worked on first try but still a good overall experience and they stood by their work to make it work.

Bought this CarPlay for my son for Christmas and he was beyond excited with the quality + installation process. He got it installed next day and has been highly satisfied with this product. He has a Nissan Altima 2013 and this definitely upgraded his system to more modern and efficient use.

10 out of 10. I’ve had it for about 7 months and I’m still figuring stuff about it everyday. Got it in my wife’s car. And im going to buy another for my car!

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my son that does lots of driving. This gives him the ability to use Android Auto for his Waze app and charging his phone at the same time. My son has a 2008 Ford Escape XLT. There are videos out there about installing similar radios into the Escape, but they talk about cutting the OEM harness. This does not have to be done. Ford uses a data line with their OEM stereo systems to power them on, so in the existing OEM harness there isn't a +12V ACC line. You will need to get something to wire directly to the fuse box. I got a "Littelfuse Blister Pack Fuse Holder - FHM200BP" from a local O'Reilly Auto for a few bucks and used fuse #37 in the fuse box (might be different for yours) as that would come up when the ACC was turned on, but no voltage when the key is off. I also picked up an antenna adapter. The fuse holder was wired to the red line going into the radio side of the harness. Everything else was wired to existing harness as normal, but followed for the speakers as they might be different for your radio. I have included the OEM wiring and the harness to help. Great stereo with the Android Auto!

Awsome It looks really good in my dash and so convenient to have everything at your fingertips. Back up camera is quality and works great when backing into my trailer

I first installed a carplay JVC radio in lynchburg, they told me they needed a additional receiver just to keep the steering wheel controls even though it said it would come with steering wheel support I paid an extra 180 just for that they told me they could install it closer to me in Charlottesville that was the worst decision I made because the one in Charlottesville only had one guy doing the installation he broke my dashboard and if I hadn't gotten the warranty I would of had to pay even more to fix the dashboard thankful I got the warranty and it was covered but still took a week to get the part shipped and for it to be fixed. I would not recommend having anything installed at the Charlottesville location because the people in Lynchburg got my dashboard off with no problem and didn’t break it. Other then that I like the product
