A: It’s in demo mode. Go into the settings menu to turn it off.
A: I've had similar problems with the JVC unit as well, but it's when my phone is connected to the unit, either through the wire or bluetooth. If you have your Iphone attached to the unit, make sure that in your bluetooth settings for iPhone, you only have 1 "KW-V830BT" listed and not several. If you have several, delete the ones that you're not using. So far that has seemed to solve my problem.
A: I set a passcode and it refused to recognize it. Had to send it to United Radio and have them reflash the passcode so I could use it. Not happy.
Q: Is there audio lag when connected to bluetooth while watching netflix or youtube videos?
A: Sometimes there is but for only the first few seconds and after that it is fine.
A: I bought a used truck with one of these installed that had this exact problem, I was sure that the wiring was bad and that it would be a big headache to fix. But then I simply reset the radio to factory settings and it has been working like a charm since, just choose the setting that says initialize and you are good to go. I'm not sure what the original owner could have done to cause this issue but my guess would be that he tried to bypass the device's security settings to watch videos while driving. This simple fix 100% worked for me and hopefully it will help someone else out as well.
A: Unfortunately you cannot bypass this,usually you would have to send it in for service to have them wipe this. It happen to me once I had to send it with my proof of purchase and they covered it because I still had warranty. I would definitely give them a call and find out how to send it for this.
A: Yes it will still display the car info as before The steering wheel controls for the stereo will not work however unless you purchase a kit to adapt to the stereo. I did not go that route and got used to running the stereo without it. Hope this helps
