The quality of the product is better than expected, the bluetooth connects properly and it is very understanding and persistent. Very easy to use and the technician Isaac was super helpful and very friendly he helped me navigate through everything. I would recommend this product for anyone with vehicles that are 20 years old or so.

The online purchase of the radio amd back up camera in one didnt explaine prior to my arrival that there were added extra cost for steering wheel controls amd added labor for the x2 wore harness' i was grateful that they could still do the installation for added $$$

Good stereo,,, I’m a simple person so don’t need much. Like how the red matches the interior lights on my truck. The pic is from a 2001 Tacoma. Fit perfect.

No, i dont need apple play, no i dont need a usb cable coming out of my glove box and no, i dont need rear camera, navigation nothing. Just give me a touch screen just to play music from my Iphone and thats all. Thanks! Glad i went with this a few weeks ago and got it installed by my not so local Best Buy. (Had to drive 45 min away since my local one is under contruction) simple features of this jvc is all i need and using the EQ settings to configure the high/ low/ bass sounds is simple. Only thing it needs it to turn off the screen while using it but other then that, this is perfect for my Dodge charger 2006

Cheap, easy to install “ just make sure your adapters are the correct ones or unless you know how to splice” overall good head unit lots of features for the price.

Sounds very deliverable against Fabian and his team are fantastic they did a great job installing and I like the fact that JVC had a combinational product and the backup camera is wonderful

Awesome in dash for your car. I had a factory radio in my 2009 Ford Focus and wanted to upgrade. This gave me a clean new look as well as improved the sound system immensely. Would definitely recommend.

I have a white noise no matter what i do ,i have it threw the factory system and the aftermarket amplifier...had it hooked straight to a battery and still has it ,i also just bought a kenwood and the same thing but worse .. ...i am not the only one ...

I've had this unit for a while, and this is my honest opinion. First, installation is pretty easy -- the only thing I had trouble with are the mounting screws, but that's very minor. It paired easily with my smartphone, which is very important to me! Second, the actual setup was simple. The interface is intuitive and almost effortless. The only thing I don't care for is the boot up screen with the warning on it, but I suppose that's industry standard now. Third, customization options are quite limited which is actually a good thing for me. Video playback is good and I didn't have any white noise like other folks are getting. Radio reception is good and the overall sound quality is great! Glad I bought it and I highly recommend!

Replaced an older factory stereo with this JVC 6.8” unit and it’s been a noticeable step up. The screen is bright and easy to read in daylight, and the touch response is good enough that I’m not fighting it while driving. Bluetooth pairs quickly and stays connected. Streaming music and hands-free calls both work well — call quality is clear and the other person can hear me without me shouting. I also like being able to play files from a USB stick without extra adapters. The rear camera input with adjustable parking guidelines is the feature I use most. Once you hook up a camera, the guidelines make backing up a lot less guesswork, especially in a larger vehicle. Sound is clean for a head unit in this price range. The EQ gives you enough control to tune it to your speakers without needing extra gear right away. Installation was straightforward with a standard double-DIN dash kit. One thing to know going in: this model does not have Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. If you mainly want Bluetooth, USB playback, a bigger screen, and a camera input, it does that job well. If wireless phone projection is a must, look at a higher model. Overall I’m happy with it. Simple, reliable, and a clear improvement over the stock radio.

This stereo is straight forward to use, camera display is clear and the Bluetooth sounds great on both ends of the call. I noticed the time not keeping up as I set it on Eastern time - it would fall back an hour within the next day of setting the time. My wife found a setting that can be changed and once we made the change we haven't had a problem with it since.

Quality and audio is fine, but the radio is an absolute PITA to use. Volume control doesn't work through phone, only radio. Unit keeps trying to auto connect to phone at any given moment and then constantly fights with phone S25U on phone calls. Only supports one color scheme on screen, a red/black. Not the worst combination but gets old and hard to look at very quickly. NOT CAST VIDEO DUE TO RESTRICTIONS, even though it (only) connects via USB cable. Would be a fine unit for a first car or a bottom budget upgrade, but is absolutely annoying and not worth the headaches for a daily driver. Best Buy 14 day return policy is the bigger kick in the butt because this would definitely be going back otherwise. Save yourself some sanity and look elsewhere or spend more $$ and get something better, but this isn't it in 2026!
