Q: does this have full manufacturers warranty?

A: The projector does come with a 3 year manufactures warranty. Make sure when purchased to keep your sales receipt as this is what JVC will need to validate your warranty.

Q: DO THE OPEN BOX PROJECTORS COME WITH A WARRANTY?WHAT ACCESSORIES COME WITH OPEN BOX PROJECTORS JVC NP5 PROJECTOR

A: Yes, the full 3 year warranty comes with the open-box units, this has been verified by JVC (even if they do not like the lower open-box prices that these have been selling for). The included accessories will vary from unit to unit when it comes to open-box.

Q: Do I need to download the latest firmware update?

A: It has firmware 2.0, the latest which I don't have deals with a special kind of HDMI. I think its fiber optics.
