Q: Can this projector be offset? if yes, what would the the maximum angle?

A: To answer your question please contact JVC directly either by calling them or contacting their email team.

Q: Is this a long throw projector

A: To check on the throw distance there are measurements of the screen that are needed to determine the actual throw distance. You can always contact JVC and they will help you out with the throw distance configuration.
