I’ve owned this pair of JVC on ear headphones for about a week now and while I was initially excited to try these out because of the experience I’ve had with other jvc headphones and speakers. But I have to admit that these are a little underwhelming. At least for me personally. They are small and very lightweight. They almost feel like a toy. Not a big complaint, but I have a large head, and the earcups just barely cover my ears. These are not marketed towards kids (that I know of) but I feel like these headphones are probably better for the kids in your home. Because they are small and light, and they don’t get very loud. I suppose that’s a low key positive. You won’t have to worry about blowing out your ear drums with these headphones. Even at like 70/80% volume on my iPhone 16 pro max, they aren’t very loud. But to be fair, these headphones sound very clean and balanced. You can hear every tone nice and clean. Bass is Lacking with these headphones, but I like how clean the mids and trebles sound. They are great for conversations as well. Voices sound clear and it has an inline microphone that can be muted. Build quality is decent. Like I said before, they are very lightweight. The earcups are comfortable even though they rest onto of my ears. I like that it has an inline microphone with volume control and a mute switch. All in all, I think these headphones are best suited for children, maybe for work and conference calls. If you want a simple budget friendly headset that you can use with a usb c port for you or your kiddos, I think you’ll be pleased with them.

In few words: Great headphones! Light weight. Good sound and control! I just wish the wire was longer... Many words: With every digital devices moving toward USB-C, these headphones are exactly what you need to stay up to date with the technologies. USB-C, plug-n-play! It works without drivers or any settings changes (minor at least). I used them on my Android phones, iPad, Mac, Windows,... Even car! Just plug and enjoy. Soft earpads that is a true comfort for all day use. They also cut-off the surrounding noise. The adjustable headband is also good. These JVC headphones would fit most users without issues. Very well made! Premium materials. Nice side folding to allow good transportation and storing. It is the small thing that can make something great. Add to that, the wire is coming on one side only. Easy to manage. JVC invested in the sound technology used in these headphones and it is really noticeable. The microphone placed in the control section is very capable. It has a disable switch which is very convenient! Control section also includes Volume up/down, and answer/end button. The essential items. With all the issues wireless can be causing and the battery life, going back one step could be a good choice. This product from JVC is a solid choice if you are looking for: affordable, Comfortable, and reliable headphones that use USB-C connectivity. They can be used everyday and for everything from listening to music, watching videos, taking calls and playing games. All with user friendliness and portability. I'd recommend buying them if you are looking for premium features for good price and simple (also reliable) connectivity. I just wish JVC made the wire longer. I might get a USB-C extension cord...

Got these to use as an alternative to my ear buds or for when they are dead to have something I can still listen to music or watch videos without bothering everyone around me. Overall they're very lightweight but almost feel cheap but again they're not super expensive headphones like Beats or Bose. From a sound quality perspective they have very clear audio with very crisp hi's. I've listened to a variety of music and watch various videos and movies and I do appreciate the sound quality. There's not as much bass as I've had with other headphones or even my earbuds so that is where I could see them falling short. The other shortcoming that I found with these headphones is they are smaller than I thought when looking at them online. As a grown adult that is 6'1" they barely fit over my ears. They fit across my head fine but the earphone piece themselves barely covers my ears when listening so I can still hear a lot of what's going on around me. Another issue I had was when I tried wearing them while also wearing glasses, the glasses made uncomfortable and it put additional pressure on my glass frames. Overall for an inexpensive pair of over the ear headphones using a USB-C jack they get the job done but really appear to be designed more for kids with the size. I would recommend these for kids or younger teenagers but for a adult they might be too small.
