The new MLP trading card game is quite easy to learn to play! The cards are so cute and pretty! Even the common cards still have a holo pattern. Uncommons have texture on them! The alt-arts or full-arts are exceptionally beautiful! The only downside is that the starter decks come with only 3 Friendship Begins booster packs, which you can only find in the starter decks - not available to purchase separately. The cards in the Friendship Begins booster packs are different than the ones found in the Fanstasy Wonderland booster packs. This makes pulling the alt-arts in the Friendship Begins booster packs quite difficult - you'd have to buy multiple starter decks in order to get a lot of Frienship Begins booster packs to open or find a lot of other people to trade with. The accompanying photo show some of the alt-art/rare cards that you can pull from the Friendship Begins booster packs. I've had to trade in order to get multiples of the same Fluttershy card.

My wife bullied me into buying these decks to play with her and honestly, as an avid enjoyer of TCGs, I am thoroughly impressed by the quality of the cards and the depth of the gameplay. With elements of Lane Control like Riftbound, a Resource System that feels like Don!! from One Piece and Lands in MTG, and a life System like Prize cards from Pokemon, but Security effects from Digimon, this game scratches a lot of TCG itches!

We were unaware my little pony released a new trading card set. As original trading card game stopped. Pleasantly surprised by cuteness of ponies. Easy to learn game.

KAYOU does justice for MLP cards. These are perfect starter decks for their new TCG. Collectors will try to get all 6! Make sure to get them before you miss out.

As of right now June 2026, this game is new to the states. The starter decks are a good baseline but they do have some filler cards that don't make sense to each ponys theme. I bought 1 of each pony (had to travel to many best buys). I love the artwork and they give you easy instructions to understand the game.

I love the art of these cards, I am not a big my little pony fan but I fell obsessed with this series because the art is literally that good! Every card felt special and unique and its one of the few card packs out there I didnt mind getting dupes on

Very cute high quality cards. The instructions to play the game were a little confusing but Kayou has an app with a tutorial of how to play if you were lost like me.

Super fun if you are into MLP and TCG. The art is amazing and quality is amazing too.

For what you get from the box it is very fairly prices, as well as the quality of the box was in perfect condition. I really enjoyed buying this product and I will definetley buy it again!

This is the most popular generation of MLP brought back in a Collectable Card Game. I don't even care if the game plays well, the cards are all well made with great art.
