I recently purchased the KEF Ci200MR UNI-Q 8" Round In-Ceiling Speaker Pair, and they have truly elevated my home audio experience. Best speakers I've owned for sure. I have four of these in my basement home theater setup and they sound incredible. The detail and range are quite dramatic. This is my first serious home theater build and I'm so excited to finally have this kind of quality in my own setup. They were surprisingly easy to install as well.

These are amazing speakers, you could use them as a mid\high just about anywhere. They do produce a good amount of bass in a good box, but I would still roll that duty off to a sub to maintain speakers duty range. Using my set in the ceiling, sealed tight. And for those saying they don't make bass you can't just expect a bare speaker not installed into a speaker cab or box to produce much bass. You have to install these correctly for them to have peak performance and there are a lot of things to consider. If you don't do your homework you should probably have a pro install them. Seating position, install correctly, install height, a good amp and tuning are all key to getting it right. These speakers have great detail and shine perfectly in my home theater.

Using 4 of these as my Atmos height speakers. The Uni-Q drivers do an excellent job of producing the Atmos effects in a way that masks the source of the sounds. Also, since the Uni-Q driver has a much wider dispersion than most ceiling speakers, I think these are more forgiving in regard to the angle of the speaker to the listening position. So if you aren’t able to get the dolby recommended angle to the listening position , these might be good option for you.

The sound is fantastic and they are barely noticeable in the ceiling. Love the magnetic cover.

I bought 8 of these for a theater in my house. So far, so good. They were on sale and so a good purchase and sound qualify for the money. One of the 8 was damaged (vibrated/defective) so BB replaced it immediately.

The sound is very warm and clean, you will hear new details and sounds from songs youve heard before

Spectactular value for money. I replaced an old set of speakers in my ceiling with these Kefs and they are truly wonderful.

Very nice set of speakers. Maybe not super high end but worth every penny.

After installing a pair of these speakers i am led then impressed. They are very good at reproducing mid bass sounds but the tweeter are less then great. They seem accurate but are very quite. I have 7.2 klipsch speaks that pick up the slack. In general i would have to say eccentric at half price they are not worth the money or effort to install them.
