[Employee of bestbuy] Powered bookshelf speakers that deliver big sound in a small package. I upgraded my two channel SVS system in my bedroom to these KEF speakers and the difference in performance was night and day. The KEF’s have a wider listening area due to the waveguides on the driver which means speaker placement is not necessary unless you want to squeeze every little ounce of performance from the speakers. The best part is they are powered and I was able to remove the amplifier from my previous system clearing up space on my desk! The only con is that they don’t have WiFi capabilities but if you can live with Bluetooth or are using them as tv/ computer speakers then that doesn’t matter and you can save yourself $400 compared to the regular LSX II’s. Definitely a great option if you want quality sound for various use applications.

The speakers sound amazing. The only issue was the connectivity to our WI-FY. It took a second crew, another trip and a lot of effort to get these connected. They work very well now!

The salesperson was knowledgeable and very helpful in making the final purchasing decision and setting up a convenient installation appointment. The speaker system's performance is very good overall. However, I thought there was an adjustment to modestly alter the frequency response of the output to highlight mid-range for emphasis of the dialog. That does not seem to be an option with these speakers.

Great product & amazing clarity. I am using this with the TV and not this speakers provide great separation & imaging but also the less power consuming for daily use. Anything you throw at this, ATMOS, Music or 5.1 movies. You will be amazed by its separation. Base is also very good from such a small speakers, the clarity from its dome it next level for any singer or instruments. If you are thinking, just go for it. Best part is that KEF knows how to run their speakers, this has the powerful amp & possible DAC inside . You don’t need anything Else

Got a great open box deal on these so they were great in every way for me. I love the size, design, outstanding set of customizations, and of course sound quality.

I tried these on pc desktop and in my room with the kube 8. I also tried the Kef R3 meta, Kef LS50 wireless 2 with KC62 sub. In my opinion, the Kef Lsx 2 is NOT worth $1000 at all. Honestly, I wouldn't use these for Free. I connected them via Optical cable for 24 bit 9600hz and I couldn't hear the details I wanted and am used to. Instead, when I tried increasing the volume to pick up on the other sounds the higher pitch sounds hurt my ear ( usually this happens with cheaper speakers or poor audio playback option. ) The only positive I can mention for sound is that it has very good voice clarity. If you were considering these for your PC desktop I would recommend holding off and first trying out Edifier S360DB. Connect them via optical cable for 24bit 96000hz. They are an amazing standard for high quality audio nearfield, I think. Then you can see for yourself why these $1000 speakers plus $600 Kube 8 is absolutely not worth its price. compared to the $500 Edifiers that come with 2 speakers and subwoofer (Even the looks and feeling of the edifier S360DB speakers are really good!) 2nd thing about edifier is that they have many options between $500-$2000. I am trying out a $900 stereo pair soon since the S360DB impressed me so much. I think kef should stop selling these LSXs because they are taking advantage of people who probably never tried other similar speakers and trust kef for its reputation. I don't know what kef put into these but it's not worth no $1000 dollars lol

Amazing sound, great connectivity plus they look very nice on my media shelving. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to have both home theater and music listening in one package. My only critique is the lack of setup instructions and trouble shooting within the packaging. I had to go online for some help getting set up.

I did not care for their sound. Very thin and clinical. They do image very well but not for me.

Paired with an SVS 3000 micro sub and the sound is amazing. Used in a home office setting, would definitely recommend.

Purchased it brand new here and gotnit in today. I was so excited. Open the box and peel off the foam anf felt like sand on the speaker. Hmm okay, maybe some dust but it was more coarse than dust and the monitors just looked… not clean. Okay, it is what it is… Time to hook it up and install the app. Go to login, error. Go to create an account, error. Go to website, made an account, still not working. Uninstalled the broken app and processed a return.

This review is for BB open box 'excellent' condition. I bought these since their description is 'as new with all factory items'...But what I received was a badly packed pair of speakers with material cosmetic issues, no documentation, and no remote. I returned them. I guess I'll keep looking for a pair.

For 1000 usd a plastic case seems a bit cheap. After 5 factory resets to connect to local low security network failed, I boxed them up and returned them. No trouble connecting any other devices and lost confidence in product quickly. I am not calling support. App works or does not on 5 tries. I would get yellow light on speaker, indicating onboarded to network yet KEF app and spotify can not find the,. I just prefered a return if this can not be reliable. Reddit was not at all positive about KEF service so back they went.
