A: You should be able to use Airplay to achieve multipoint with no additional hardware, but if you don't have Apple devices to stream from or you're listening to physical media that won't work. An alternative streaming method would be Alexa: your receiver already has support built in, but you'll need to plug an Echo Dot into the LSX to make that work, it will only support streaming sources, and you'll have to control it with voice commands. Roon is an elegant streaming solution, but if you don't already use it it's probably not worth the equipment and subscription cost just for this. Bluetooth will allow you to stream anything you play on the receiver to the LSX, but Bluetooth will limit range and audio quality. And of course you can physically wire the receiver to the LSX, but at that point you might as well just buy passive speakers. So the short answer is, "it depends."
