The R11 Meta is the floorstanding model of the R Series. For a listening experience, its combination of 12th generation Uni-Q driver array with MAT and four 6.5” hybrid aluminum bass drivers allow it to pick out the subtle details of a recording, while also delivering raw power and agility. Metamaterial absorbs 99% of unwanted sound for pure and natural sound.

Kef r11 meta
I've had these speakers for about a month now and I'm couldn't be happier with them. I was looking at these and bowers and Wilkins 702s3 signature. I haven't heard the bowers but based off reviews i decided to trial the kef's 1st and i was sold on them quickly. They're 4ohm speakers so they do require a strong amplifier to get them to sound their best. I am running them off a Marantz cinema 40 and external Emotiva XPA DR3 amp. The sound stage is truly impressive and the clarity is amazing. I am hearing things in music and movies that i haven't noticed before. I would also say the low frequency output with these is very good too. They measure great down to 40hz and slowly roll off. That is good enough for most to use without a subwoofer. But they do sound best with a pair of decent subs for full range output. They're beautiful speakers as well and the finish on them is awesome.
