Q: Is this compatible with a 2005 Toyota highlander?
A: This will fit any vehicle if you get the proper dash kit and wiring harness. The dash kit fills the opening from your current stereo to this one, and you need the proper wiring harness to adapt your car’s wiring to the radio. These are available from many companies.
A: Sure. It just depends how they connected together. Most likely his used an AUX connection to adapt the two items. Just make sure new radio has an AUX in port.

A: Yea the unit comes with the keys to remove the unit from the slide box frame, as for the install kit, it should fit into the one you have now as long as it's a single din kit. You'll just have to bend the tabs to change the slide frame box to the new one
