About this product
Vinyl LP pressing. Ramones In Love is a love letter to the love songs of the Ramones... How did this record come to be? Well it all began years ago when a young romantic Kepi made a compilation tape of all the Ramones love songs in chronological order... he loved their ballads, and after seeing the Ramones live several times, realized it was unlikely he would ever hear these songs live... The tape was an essential part of the soundtrack of his life... punks need ballads after the show is over, relaxing, or when spending time with a partner... Kepi has been releasing a love song or two every Valentines Day for well over a dozen years, and last years included the Ramones' I Want You Around. The song included guitar parts by two of Sacramento's finest, and the dream of recreating this now legendary (to Kepi) comp tape became a passionate vision. Enlisting the production talents of his lifelong Ghoulie buddy Eric Bianchi, the two started recording tracks, with various talented friends, adding keyboards, horns, or whatever was needed to compliment the timeless melodies... To many people, the Ramones are their Beatles... The music has all kinds of depth and emotions, and though the Ramones are best known for their bombastic non-stop song delivery, this offering showcases the romance and poignance of the catalog of a band that has not only launched a thousand punk bands, but also warmed a million hearts. Album Tracks 1. I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend 2. I Remember You 3. Here Today, Gone Tomorrow 4. Needles and Pins 5. Questioningly 6. I Want You Around 7. Baby, I Love You 8. She's a Sensation 9. 7-11 10. My-My Kind of a Girl 11. Howling at the Moon (Sha-La-La) 12. She Belongs to Me 13. Bye Bye Baby

Double vinyl LP pressing in gatefold sleeve including art insert and . Digitally remastered edition. 1994's Sprawl, originally released on Woronzow, features Nick with Jimmy Hastings (flute), Tony Aldridge (violin) and Andy Ward on drums. Vocals here were provided by Ade Shaw, Dean Carter and Mick Donovan along with Current 93's David Tibet guesting with spoken word on the spiritual 'Right On (hippy dream)'. The tenth studio album in less than a decade since and Sprawl - once again - demonstrates Nick's immeasurable songwriting power. Renato de Grandis's forty-eight Preludi per Pianoforte were composed several years after the composer decided, shortly after his 60th birthday, to stop composing. After living in Germany and Belgium for thirty years, building a reputation as one of the major composers in Europe's avant-garde music scene, de Grandis decided to move back to Italy to go on retreat. His withdrawal from composing lasted only a few years, however; it appears travelling led him back to music. Considered as a whole, one finds in the Preludes the entire spectrum of de Grandis's musical thought. Album Tracks 1. Clair de Lune 2. Midrash 3. La Circonferenza Dell'amore 4. Reitia 5.
