Originally, I bought this unit for my basement, which isn't heated or cooled, but stays in the mid 60’s most of the time. Unfortunately, the unit would constantly freeze up and would blow warm air trying to defrost…and no water collection! I have a smaller unit on the other side of the basement, and I have no trouble with it freezing up. I purchased another big unit (different brand) for the basement (also no trouble with freezing up) and moved this one up to the main level. This one works much better now that it isn't in the basement!!! The drain bucket is a bit awkward to get out and dump, but I love the size of the bucket and that it has the clothes dry function. It's also relatively quiet. Haven't used the continuous drain yet, so can't comment on that function. Overall, good unit as long as you aren't planning on using in a basement that isn't heated.
