I’m extremely satisfied with the Keychron V5 Max. The build quality feels premium, typing is smooth, and the sound is clean right out of the box. Wireless connectivity is reliable, battery life is solid, and customization options are excellent. It’s comfortable for long sessions and easily one of the best keyboards I’ve owned. Highly recommended for work and gaming.

Works great, Mac users will appreciate all the features and functions just be sure to use the appropriate browser to utilize keychrons launcher app. This app was easy enough to figure out but it took me some time to explore the features and functionality. This app is a MUST as this keyboard features remappable keys ( note: this model is not a full keyboard). The red keys are very easy to press and have a low/mid level of noise to them when pressed but do not click like a mouse does. The body is plastic but solid and heavy so it stays put. This keyboard doesn’t look or feel cheap and appears to be well made and there is definitely some noise reduction/sound dampening lending to a solid feel. If you need or prefer backlit keys this keyboard has all that, however the key symbols themselves are not backlit, and therefore not as visible in low light conditions.

Keychron V5 Max is a solid, well-built keyboard with smooth switches and great wireless performance. Typing feels clean and responsive, and the customization options are excellent for the price. A reliable choice for daily work or gaming.

The Keychron V5 Max is an outstanding wireless mechanical keyboard! The QMK/VIA compatibility makes customization a breeze, and the hot-swappable red switches provide a smooth, responsive typing experience. The RGB lighting is vibrant, and the 96% layout is compact yet functional. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a reliable, customizable keyboard.

If a Lamborghini or Ferrari were ever reincarnated as a keyboard, it would be the Keychron. The sleek, modern design feels like having a high-performance vehicle right at my fingertips. Every key press is incredibly satisfying, delivering a premium feel that matches the refined craftsmanship of an exotic car. The build quality is top-notch—solid, substantial, and beautifully finished, giving it a luxury appeal that reminds me of stepping into a finely-tuned sports car. The volume knob is a standout feature. It’s perfectly positioned, smooth as silk, and has that distinct tactile feel that makes you want to reach for it again and again. It’s not just a control but an experience. Then there’s the sound. Or rather, the lack of it. The dampened sound profile is amazing. Each press is muted just enough, providing a deep, satisfying thock rather than a loud clack, which makes it feel incredibly high-end. In short, this keyboard is the Lamborghini of its kind—sleek, powerful, and engineered to perfection.
