Q: Does this find keys if they are lost out in a yard or somewhere else where wifi cannot reach or if your phone is nowhere near it?

A: It's supposed to log location history & report last known location, but only where an active, Tile App installed and enabled device, within range, located it. (I am a Best Buy Employee, however my comments are my own and do not necessarily reflect Best Buy Policy)

Q: My keysmart max can be located with my iPhone however the key smart does not ring it only tells me it is close on my phone

Q: Love Key Smart. Sometimes when I’m playing around with KS, it doesn’t find my phone even when very close. Sometimes phone says Tile disabled!! What am I doing wrong? Thank you

A: Unfortunately you are trusting in technology that is not perfect ... or even perfected. I had one with the same issue, so I thought something was wrong and had it replaced only to have the same issue. It does better in some areas vs. others, which should not be the case given the GPS satellite coverage area is adequate most places in the US. I also noticed it will have problems if my Wi-Fi has problems because it doesn't switch quickly or correctly to the cell signal - which I think is an app issue. Given that, and the fact that if you don't remember to charge it every 30 days (mine won't get to 45 days as advertised), you won't ever find it, I think this is a great idea that was poorly executed.

Q: Can the Tile device detect more than 1 phone? I have 3 phones & would like to put them ALL on it!

A: Not really. You can setup all your phones on the same tile account, making each phone a tile device. You can track all the phones that way. However if you are looking for the kesymart to ring all the phones, I think that is not possible. The keysmart as well as any tile device will ring one phone. The tile app will be able to make any phone ring. Hope that helps.

Q: How long does it fully charge a Keysmart pro?

A: Thanks for reaching out! It usually takes 3-5 hours to fully charge a KeySmart pro and it should be able to last 30-45 days, with average flashlight usage. However, we advise charging every 1 month (some customers will use it more than expected and will kill the battery faster).

Q: Just bought and charged but won't turn on only works plugged in. W hat am I doing wrong?

A: I had the same thing happen. It's defective. You can't send it back for the exchange, but that takes weeks and you have to pay shipping.. better off trying you luck on a new one if you actually need it.

Q: Does the battery only last a year like the original Tile or is it replaceable like the Tile Pro?

A: No it is rechargeable
