This unit works great all year round in Southern US climates and generally punches above its weight. Super-efficient Heat in the winter, and excellent Cool in the summer. However, it is NOT for heating in Mid or Northern US climates where winter temps approach 40 or below. There are other heat pump window units that can handle colder weather, but not this one. It is relatively quiet and is both app/wi-fi and remote controlled. As long as you know all this going in, you will be happy with it.

They wrote this in such away that you think it heats, but if it's 41°F or under outside it specifically says it will not heat on the unit. Why even advertise it as that with the option.

This AC is perfect! I am going to get another for a different room. Very quiet and easy to use.

Excellent product; however, when ambient temperature is below 40 degrees, the heater doesn't produce heat.

I liked this air conditioner because of the heat option it has, operfect to keep the bedroom cozy ,cool or warm.it is quiet,low noise .

I bought this for the supplemental heat and it works great!

If I wanted another air conditioner I could have bought one less expensive than this! I wanted it for the heater. But it don't work under 41° and I didn't see that in the advertisement. What I found was on the unit itself. Very disappointed. I will be returning if it not to late.

This unit will not work on heat if it is below 40 degrees. It needs to be clear that this is an issue. It doesn't say that directly it says won't work on Lo if the temperature outside is below 40.
