I’m having a love and hate relationship with this subwoofer it works in my truck because it fits under the back seats which is what I want but I’ve been through 3 of them because they seize up so if you don’t have your amp turned up very loud then they will last but I think the longest I’ve had one run was about a week and a half. It has great bass but it’s not very durable

This 12 inch sub is perfect! I chose this to balance out my system. It adds very good bass for someone that's not looking to shake the block. I have it powered a Recoil 600.1 monoblock amplifier. Installed in a 1992 Ford Bronco!

Perfect slimline 12 inch speaker box with cooling port that fits under the back seat of my 2015 Silverado. Swapped out a 10inch sub and immediately noticed a huge difference in deep pounding bass . Already have recommended to multiple friends for their sound needs in a compact design

I have this paired to the kenwood KAC-511 amplifier and it hits beautifully in my trunk. I got one that was defective from factory but the replacement has been working solid for some time now. I love being able to have bass and still put my top down on my convertible

This thing really rocks and it American made too! As usual my man Brandon Arce recommended a great addition to my sound system upgrade. The price was the BestBuy I could get and it delivers the “Boom Booms” I’m always looking for. Thanks to BestBuy, Geek Squad, and Brandon for my third SLAMMING car audio system…

Do not pair this subwoofer with an amp more than 700 W 800 max you’re going to blow them if you do even at a low setting I find that pairing it with the 800 W max 400 W RMS kicker CXA 400.1 is a good match for this subwoofer. It’s not gonna rattle your paint off but you get some Nice clean bass in the cabin

Kicker has always been a quality brand. These 12s matched with the Kicker 1200.1 is a great combo

I have a kicker 400 amp running to this 12 and it bangs in my Ford Ranger XLT. You're not going to win any base competitions but you will definitely p$s off the neighbors. Definitely a nice box and speaker!!

When you install. Just make sure the speakers are faced down and the Kicker decal is right side. Had them facing up for aboit a month. Flipped them over. No words!

This is a fantastic, compact subwoofer enclosure, especially at the sale price. I installed this under the backseat of my Jeep Gladiator, and it does protrude about 3-4" from the seat, but that is not Kicker's fault, that is mine. Luckily, it has a really nice finish on it so it kind of looks at home there anyway. The sub is being powered by the 800w monoblock from Kicker, and it is far more power than this sub needs to sound good. The sub runs 500w-1000w, so the amp is probably right around the sweet spot without being too small, or too big. With the gain on the amp at about 20-30%, this sub is hitting harder than I expected it to. It isn't a competition setup by no stretch, it won't rattle storefront windows, it won't do hair tricks, but it will definitely wake up a weak, anemic sound system. I have noticed such an improvement in bass that at louder volumes it actually becomes a bit uncomfortable just because I was so used to the feeling that my factory sub was going to blow up. This sub just keeps on trucking right through the hardest drops I have thrown at it with no indication of bottoming out. One thing that I think could set this to a five star would be to include some kind of brackets or foot extensions to handle oddly shaped floors. If the surface you are putting it on is perfectly flat you have nothing to worry about, but the Gladiator has a very tiny hump in the floor that gets a bit close to the subs, as many cars have various shapes to the flooring. I came up with my own simple bracket system to give a bit more space and it works perfect.
