If you have a newer vehicle, and the stereo output is controlled through data, you need something like this to tell the computer there is constant resistance in the circuit, or the radio will cut speaker signal. 3 trips to the Geek Squad and I can finally use the amp in my car. Lesson learned.

This small amp is great if u don’t have a aftermarket stereo easy to wired up and easy to use.
