King Crimson - Lizard - VINYL LP

Limited edition vinyl releases of titles previously available in boxed sets only. Original studio albums remixed by Steven Wilson & Robert Fripp. Limited to 2000 copies per title. Pressed on 200 gram vinyl. Originally begun in 2009 by Steven Wilson & Robert Fripp for King Crimson's 40th anniversary, a series of new mixes were prepared in both stereo & 5. 1 formats & issued as CD/DVD-a sets. The CD/DVD-A series also provided the catalyst for the larger scale King Crimson boxed sets as issued from 2012 onwards. The impact of both the CD/DVD-A series & the boxed sets helped to kick start a wider interest in the mainstream market for surround sound & for all-encompassing artist boxed sets which had, previously, been limited mostly to 'direct to fan' and/or specialist online sales & retailers. Consumer demand for the remixes on vinyl led to two boxed sets being issued in late 2018. Album Tracks 1. Larks' Tongues in Aspic, Part One 2. Book of Saturday 3. Exiles 4. Easy Money 5. The Talking Drum 6. Larks' Tongues in Aspic, Part Two

DGM & Panegyric are proud to present the sixth in a series of King Crimson high quality vinyl reissues with the Sept. of InchIslandsInch. The album's return to the 12Inch vinyl is newly cut from masters approved by Robert Fripp. Manufactured on 200 gram super-heavyweight vinyl & housed in a reprint of the original sleeve, with lyrics insert. This edition also contains bonus MP3 codes giving access to a download of a transfer of an original 1971 pressing - in this case taken from Robert Fripp's personal file copy of the album. Demand for King Crimson vinyl is stronger than at any time since the mid-1970 's. With King Crimson reformed with a new line-up - including Mel Collins from the original Islands band - & about to tour for the first time in many years, interest in all King Crimson material is at a high point. Album Tracks 1. Formentera Lady 2. Sailor's Tale 3. The Letters 4. Ladies of the Road 5. Prelude Song of the Gulls 6. Islands
