My kitchen had a circa 1986 original white, size-large, Maytag microwave. I upgraded the stove to a Kitchen Aid a year ago and got this matching low profile microwave and completed the upgrade of my kitchen. We’ve always just heated in a microwave and this one’s great. Gentle sounding alarm, pull or push button to open, turntable (the MW with the air fryer mode didnt have a turntable) and gives us room to see the stove dials, vent outside and 3 light settings are terrific. Not disappointed.

The microwave we just purchased is a beautiful addition to our kitchen number one. It’s very efficient and number two if it’s very nicely and it’s very easy to use I couldn’t ask for a better microwave.

Good fan/ventilation, but unit has poor heating performance and can NOT be used for popcorn on any setting. Our unit also started emitting a high-pitched coil whine noise after only about a month of use.

Disappointed with the purchase. The microwave looks sleek and fancy but has some design and manufacturing issues. The turntable is wobbly. The buttons have a lag and are not user friendly. Given the premium price KitchenAid charged for this microwave I was expecting much higher product quality standard.

Fan and light are in area of where you open the door and you are constantly turning on either the fan or the light. Also too may steps to simply warm something up
