I loved the look of this, and the function....until....I've had this for one year and one month. The turntable just cracked in half while steaming a bag of corn. Now I'm told that I'm out of warranty (one year) and I can buy the parts on my own. Don't get me wrong- I love the look of this microwave. I love the function. However, If I'm paying this much for a microwave, I'd assume that that it function correctly for more than one year.

Works great and matches the rest of our kitchen aid appliances. One thing I can’t figure out sometimes when you run the convec oven the setting of the oven doesn’t stay consistent.

Love this microwave. It is so quiet. My only complaint is the light is very dim but other than that it is amazing.

I installed it in less than 10 minutes it was so easy. Product works great and matches our other appliances to a ‘T’. Highly recommended and easy to use.

We like the microwave. We where limited due to the built in space we had. The Kitchen Aid microwave we purchased fit our space. We had confidence in Kitchen Aid products thus our decision. Othe microwaves we liked didn’t fit due to their size being too high or too deep. Several retailers we visited stated most microwaves are now 30” wide. Our width limit was 25.

We have had this microwave for less than a month and it completely broke on us. We had a repair man out to look at it and he’s having to order a huge amount of parts to fix it. I asked Best Buy if they could please just exchange it since we had it less than a month we’re all in quarantine and I have five kids, family of 7, wanting a microwave They wouldn’t do it they insist that I have to have it exchanged within 14 days. Insanity. So, now I’m waiting for parts to come in. Going to be a whole week. Repair man is not sure that it will make it work. Could be a lemon. Should’ve just bought a cheapie microwave and stuck it in my hole where my built-in should go like I had before. I’m disappointed with Best Buy. I even purchased a five year protection program on this thing. KitchenAid was incredibly helpful and send somebody out the day after I spoke to them. I have the microwave set up in my garage, as I have a special needs child with compromised health and I am not allowing people into my home during this crisis. They should have just made an exception and exchanged this microwave. I will never buy an appliance from Best Buy again. I’m hoping KitchenAid can get it fixed or replaced quickly, as it is not fun to not have a microwave and be on a stay-at-home order. Thanks Best Buy.

Really love that this microwave matches my other Kitchenaid appliances. I’ve only had it a few weeks so I’m still learning how to use it, but so far it’s great. Relatively quiet also.

Love the convenience of using this microwave and the pull down feature instead of push button to open the door.

Love this product! It does it all and more. Microwaves,steams,convection and a crisper. Really like the black satin finish and no fingerprints. Like the large cubic foot cooking area and its stainless steel interior. Convenient rotating carousel for even cooking. Also a very solid build to this unit.

We bought the unit from Pacific Sales (Best Buy) in Newbury Park, California. They have been outstanding every step of the way unit. They provided outstanding guidance, pricing, and followup. They went out of their way to ensure convenient delivery and removal od old appliances. We bought five appliances and are very happy with them and the support we received from Pacific Sales (Best Buy). I would recommend them with highest ratings. The miceowave is a wonderful unit. The only negatives have to do with the manufacturer, KitchenAid, over three issues out of the box. The light doesn’t work. The unit will not operate unless I push against the door. I temporarily solved this by creating a "lump" over the switch botton with toothpicks and tape so that shutting the door normally provides enough pressure to oush the safety switch. Finally, the turn table rumbles very noisily. KitchenAid has very limited repair service technicians. Surprisingly, they have arranged for no local warranty repair services in our town of of over 140, 000 poeple. They scheduled our service for three weeks after I called. The repair service comes from a great distance away. I've also called KitchenAid for tech support to seek anwers on a couple of questions regarding the installation I was doing myself. At one point I even had an electrician call KitchenAid for a simple question he had about electrical specs, but they have no tech support and the representatives said I should call a repair service because they are not able to answer any tech support questions. We did a lot of research before purchasing the microwave and found it to be the best option for the money. Inspite of the problems, I still believe that to be true. Other than the correctible problems I've described above, it is an excelent unit. KitchenAid customer service in my case was very insufficient. Again, all this has nothing to do with Pacific Sales, the retail store. They have been outstanding throughout and their support was the primary reason we purchased this and several other appliance from them rather than Home Depot, Lowes, or other stores. I would highly recommend Pacific Sale (Best Buy).

Easy installation, extremely easy to use. Looks fantastic and is well built. The operation is very quiet and powerful. I've found the heating to be spot on with recipes and reheating very quick.

This microwave is easy to use, plenty big and works well. The dial is pretty quick for setting intermediate power levels or specific time requirements but I find myself just clicking the “add minute” button a couple times for most items. This one has the side panels to fit a 27” or 30” built in space which is nice since we wanted a built in (that looks a lot nicer than a counter top model with surround trim) but didn’t want to splurge on the 30” unit that had convection and other features we didn’t need since we have 2 regular wall ovens with the convection baking option. One thing to be aware of is that the door opens down so if this is installed in a high position it can be hard for kids/shorter adults to reach inside to clean it out. Overall, we are very happy with this purchase.

Love this Microwave. For ultimate functionality need the 210V connectivity. But still works on the 110V. Great, sleek, contemporary microwave. The door is a bit heavy and can tell when you open and close. Overall great microwave!
