Q: is there a trim kit to get the built-in look?
A: There is a trim kit available as an extra purchase but there are still gaps on all sides between the microwave and the trim. We used the 30" trim kit and this microwave is so small that it looked odd after installing.

A: Yes., but it may stick out the front. The resting feet on the Microwave bottom are 11” deep and 16” wide. The Manuel says “allow a few inches of space at the back and side of the microwave oven where the exhaust vents are located.” “ Blocking the exhaust vents could cause damage to the microwave oven as well as poor cooking results.” “Make sure the microwave oven legs are in place to ensure proper air flow.”
