Nice Enough Fridge / Some Notable Flaws

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I like the fridge -- at least as much as I like any appliance. In my mind a 3/5 is just a normal household device that meets our needs. It doesn't blow me away but it's not awful either. It fits in the space we have, the shelves are adjustable, the doors have ample space, and I can fit just about as much in it as our old full size fridge that this one replaced (fridge portion / not freezer). It also is quiet and seems to hold a nice temperature -- even with holding the doors open to fill water bottles. There are a few things I'm not crazy about though. - Shelves in fridge don't go to the back wall and large gaps are available for smaller containers to fall down - The glass shelves also have sharp edges so if you have an organizer with little feet on them they get caught when trying to pull out the tray full of condiments - The internal water dispenser seems like a nice idea but there is no drip tray and you always have to wait for a few final drops until you remove your bottle -- or else it lands in the deli tray. - The internal ice maker should be great but the lever/switch for it gets caught on the back of the tray until the tray is completely full -- and then ice is falling out into the other portions of the freezer every time you open the fridge - Freezer drawers are big enough, but the center tray is nice for pizzas and slim items Lastly, the fridge was delivered damaged and it's expected to take 10-11 weeks to get a replacement door. It's just a couple of dents and the company is fixing it, just a bummer that i have to look at 2 dents for so long until it gets fixed.

    Awesome Fridge

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We have had the fridge installed for about a month. I really like the cold water dispenser and the ice maker, as i haven't had these features in the past. both work excellent. I'm happy with the overall size and functionality of the fridge, however i am struggling a little with some larger containers. Will likely end up taking out a shelf. We really like the deli centre also! One thing the Stainless finish does finger print easily.

    Great features!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I finally got this fridge installed for my kitchen renovation. Very happy with the quality and it comes with a lot of nice accessories to organize the inside. Would buy again!

Beware of gap at the back of interior shelves

Overall pretty satisfied with the fridge. Love the interior water dispenser that keeps the front free of unsightly water drips. But I hate that the back of the interior shelves do not come close to the back of the fridge so that smaller items (like individual applesauce containers) fall down the back. For the amount of money the fridge costs, not asking too much to have full length shelves!

    Great refrigerator!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had this for about a month and love it. Plenty of room for everything and even room left over. I give it a 5 star rating. Especially like the inside water dispenser, did not want one with it in the door. It has a nice clean look on the outside.

    Efficient use of space

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this for our kitchen remodel, which required a counter-depth refrigerator. We were pleasantly surprised by the very roomy freezer compartment, with easy accessibility. In the regular refrigerator section, the door compartments and shelving affords ample space for most items. It will take time to figure out where to store all our vegetables, as the two drawers are much smaller than what we've had in the past. The large full-width drawer beneath those two drawers, however, can perhaps be used to accommodate some of the overflow, along with cheeses and meats. The one drawback is the shelving in that area. The glass shelves do not go all the way to the back of the refrigerator, which could potentially mean that skinny item could fall down the back and collide with shelves below. We assume the reason for not going to the back wall is to provide adequate circulation. For now, we have decided to store skinny items (beer, sauces, etc.) in the door bins. We have not been able to hook up to water yet, as the remodel has not gone so far as to provide that source. We are expecting no problems in that area, as the quality of this product appears to be very good.

    Major part of kitchen remodel

A complete kitchen remodel included a Kichenaid stove, refrigerator and dishwasher. My wife is thrilled with everything. Unfortunately we have a failed door seal on the frig within two months of purchase. The ease of adjustment for leveling and shelves. The water dispenser was a wonderful surprise.

    Cool design

We were looking for a "counter depth" by stylish refrigerator that maximized interior capacity and this one fit the bill. Although we were used to an external water dispenser, having it on the inside means the water is always cold so I don't miss having the ice in the door - which means both doors can store gallon milk jugs and juice bottles. When you first get it, you will hear the compressor for a day or two as it seeks to fully cool and sometimes you will hear it during the day but most of the time it operates silently. I love the inside wine rack but the floating shelves needs a different design because on the lower settings, the bottom part of the shelf bracket has not mounting rail to go into. Otherwise, it's a great, fridge and we have gotten a lot of compliments on the style and design of it.

    Beautiful fridge!

We ordered this counter-depth fridge as part of a full-scale kitchen remodel, along with a KitchenAid dishwasher, range and microwave/hood combination. The only down side was the wait--all appliances were new releases and arrived fairly close to the dates we were given, except the fridge. We waited the entire summer for it to arrive, so for us, any fridge was a good fridge by that point. But we have had it over a month now and are very pleased. I have no complaints so far; but my husband and I both agreed we would have liked to have the shelves that roll out, like our previous Kenmore. Time will tell whether these appliances are as reliable as Kenmore. The cosmetic appearance is outstanding--all the appliances have a neat, uncluttered appearance. The fridge comes with a clever (removable) rack for wine bottles, and overall the food stays fresher than with our old fridge. The way the shelves are set up makes them very easy to clean, and also provides a clear view of what's in there. Filtered water is available through an inside spout, the only disadvantage being that it drips a bit after dispensing. I would not recommend this fridge for a large family, as storage is limited when you choose a counter-depth model. I did that to have as much space in my kitchen as possible.
