Looks great, works great. Only small negative is it has a louder sound while closing (not loud, a little annoying). I like that you can ether push the button to close or gently nudge it and it closes. Would purchase again.

This unit feels well built. I did the install, after my handyman quoted me $180 to open up a new microwave cabinet a half inch on both sides to accommodate this appliance. I like this unit, its been about 4 months. Especially after figuring out how to change the annoying factory defrost mode which stops the machine every 2.5 minutes (to rotate, rearrange meat) requiring you press continue 4 times on a 15 defrost. Its not a blaster power microwave, but it does the job well enough for us. If you need a super power microwave, find another.

Was questionable about having to bend down and put my stuff into a microwave now that it’s in. I wish I would’ve got this year’s ago. It’s beautiful works excellent we love our KitchenAid microwave drawer.

It looks really nice in our kitchen. We made the mistake of ordering the kitchen island with the opening for the microwave without providing the dimensions. The opening was bigger but we were lucky and found someone who was able to add a little wood trim. Microwave works perfectly.

This microwave is "OK", which is sad to say for a $1600 microwave. Our most frequently heard complaint from family members is that since the buttons are not backlit and the printing is not very stark, it's hard to see the buttons to know what you're pressing. It's also slower than our previous (sub $500) microwave and louder. Not too impressed Kitchen aid.

We loved this microwave. It’s beautiful and it worked so well for about 10 months. Then it broke. kitchenaid came out and repaired because it was under warranty. We had to wait a month for the part. Then we we loved it again for almost 2 months. Then it broke again. The same issue as before. I’m beyond disappointed.

I love my new under the counter microwave. I am still getting used to the drawer style. Matches my other Kitchenaid appliances perfectly and looks great in my newly renovated kitchen. I think it’s a bit pricey and disappointed that it didn’t come with a trim kit and there is not one available for purchase for this model.

Great drawer microwave if you need one. It is way overpriced for what you get. Difficult to install due to slightly larger dimensions than the typical drawer, but made it work. Hopefully it will last as our other one, a Sharp, did not last long and had multiple issues. For this kind of money, these things need to be better. Overall, had it for a month now and happy with it.

This item is beautiful in appearance, and works amazing. It was way more than I hope it would be. Highly recommend. Used it on Thanksgiving Day for the first time. It was the conversation piece for the whole family. Everyone was amazed by its features, and how classy it looked. Family members are now researching, in hopes to add to their kitchens.

Love the convenience of the drawer in my newly reconstructed cabinet. Wish it had lighted control panel.

wanted a microwave to fit in lower cabinet and this unit fills the bill very well. saves countertop and upper cabinet space, and has all the features of any full size microwave.

It stopped working after 5 uses. Door would not close, light remained on 24/7 and control panel buttons randomly worked. Repairman stated if I fixed one part, it could affect another part, which would lead to a domino affect of repeat service repair needs. Sad to pay $1500 for a microwave that stopped working within 3 days of install. However, luckily I paid for the Geek service as the microwave was under a 15 day return/exchange policy and I was a few days pass the policy. Could have been stuck with a $1500 lemon. Crossing fingers replacement will not be a repeat of poor operations.
