When our 18 year old Kitchenaid dishwasher finally died, we looked at every option we could find for a replacement. It's in an open space, so it had to be quiet. Drying was of paramount importance, so we ruled out units without a drying feature. We looked at the Best Buy models since they were priced much better, but with free installation and a price match, this worked out to be almost the same price. Although this one is supposed to dry, it's only okay on that function. Using powder detergent, a rinse aid (which I really didn't want to do since they're toxic) and the highest possible settings, dishes come out fairly dry. Not as dry as they did with our decrepit unit, but acceptable. Will experiment with vinegar in place of the rinse aid when it runs out. This unit does clean really well, and it's very quiet and reasonably attractive. I'm a little worried about the hint the installer gave me about only pulling from the center of the handle to open the door, because the latch tends to fail. So far it seems fine, but we're trying to make sure to close it lightly rather than forcing the latch to shut unless we're running it. The extra rack on the top is nice, especially for things like lids to Pyrex bowls. It does require the middle rack to be on the lower setting in order to fit most of our glasses, which makes it a little harder to load. Installation was quick and the installers were excellent--on time, pleasant and efficient. Overall happy with the purchase, not quite 5 stars based on price and drying capability.

For the money, this dishwasher really should have some sort of adjustable lower rack. It's impossible to wash one gallon jugs, for example. However, it has the third rack and smudge-free front.

This dishwasher replaced a dishwasher that was some years old. It was put in to sell the house as the prior owners were a bit annoyed they lost their house. I digress, the washer was absolutely excellent! IT has cleaned the dishes so thoroughly, they are looking brand new, out of the box fresh! This is the best appliance purchase I have made in years, with the right amount of bells and whistles! You can't go wrong with this washer!

This a sleek design and looks great but most importantly works well. No need to wash your plates of food before you put it in - it gets everything off. One drawback is the top doesn't allow big cups like 32oz cups but that is because it has a cool rack on top for those tiny things that always get lost. It is SUPER quiet. i highly recommend

Worst dishwasher I’ve ever owned. Plastic components that control the adjustable rack became extremely brittle and broke within 2 years. Replacement parts lasted 8 months before breaking. With the adjustable rack broken, you can’t put anything large in the bottom rack or the sprayer won’t spin. Doesn’t really matter since it doesn’t clean anything off of dishes even when it is spinning.
