  • Features
    • Hard Food Disposer: false (This feature has blades to chop and disintegrate hard food particles, making them small enough to easily drain away. This prevents them from being recirculated back onto dishware and allows for easy maintenance.)
    • Drying Method: Heated drying (Appliances that use heat to dry the dishes will include a heating element or minerals which transform moisture into heat. A fan or vent then circulates the hot dry air throughout the tub during the drying cycle. This may reduce drying time and the risk of water spots. Appliances that use minerals to produce heat are considered more energy efficient than those that include a heating element. Appliances that use condensation drying are considered more energy efficient than those that use heated drying. Instead, high temperature water is produced during the final rinse cycle which warms the interior and eventually condensates and drains out of the machine.)

Q: Does this model have a water sprayer at the top, that sprays downward, removing the gunk off the top of things in the top rack?

A: It does have a small spray arm up top that does spray downward on the top rack. I know I said it is a small spray arm but I have had no problems with the dishes up top to be cleaned quite well after every wash.

Q: Where is the water connection underneath the unit? Left front?

A: Hello Hofty, please feel free to view the Installation Instructions for this model at the link provided. bit.ly/3khaEVZ Thank you for your inquiry on our KitchenAid appliances.

Q: How to clean under the bottom blade? My dishes are pretty clean when I put them in the dishwasher, BUT I KNOW I SHOULD CLEAN UNDER THE BOTTOM BLADE. Its 4 yrs. old

A: Hello warrenty! We would recommend using affresh® Dishwasher cleaner. Thank you for your inquiry on our KitchenAid appliances.

Q: dose this model have heated dry on all cycles or only available on pro wash cycle?

A: Hello nini, yes, heated dry is available on all cycles. We hope this helps.

Q: Is the noise low when turned on?

A: Hello, this model has a dBA sound rating of 47. Thank you for your inquiry on our KitchenAid appliances.

Q: Is the White Kitchenaid Dishwasher with the pocket handle available withe the 3rd Drawer

A: Hello, no it would not. Currently, the only white model with a pocket handle would be model KDFE204KWH. Thank you for your inquiry on our KitchenAid appliances.

Q: there was puddles of excessive water inside the washer after the wash , the dishes is not properly cleaned

A: I have not had that problem. How long have you had the machine? Is the drain in the sink with food products? Did you grind your disposal before turning on? If not, it can cause a back up. Also, if the dishes are not clean, there could have been something that blocked the water to get to the dishes or the soap did not dispense correctly.

Q: Is it normal to have condensation inside on the door after the cycle is complete? Also there are tiny droplets of water coming from the outside vent?

A: The older models did not have this problem and I notice I have it too but it does not seem to pose a problem with cleaning the dishes.
