Lots of power, excellent grease traps, well made and relatively easy to install

See in the blurb -- Hidden 3-speed slider controls make operation of the fan and lights simple. Lead me to believe that the $1700 range hood comes with a motor to operate. Instead I got the shell of the range hood and NO motor -- it is ordered separately at additional cost ($450). Disappointed as I didn't discover that until my contractor was about to install the range hood. Now it will be 2 more weeks before I get the motor. Best Buy could have added a link to order the motor to the original blurb so I could have made an informed decision whether or not to purchase.

We're very pleased of how well this range hood works. The lighting is great and we really appreciate that the lights work on two levels. The exhaust performance is excellent. We usually only use the lowest setting. However the other two work fantastic when you have a lot of smoke or steam to remove.

love the new look as well as the power of the fan and lights

The stainless steel range hood and exhaust vent between the range hood and the kitchen ceiling stand out in my remodeled kitchen. The fan is in the attic. The fan noise is minimal in the kitchen. I bought the 1200 CFM fan. The air movement out of the kitchen definitely pulls the cooking odors outside. The heat lamps are very warm. We added a stainless steel warming shelf to take advantage of the warming lights.

Great hood that looks amazing. Just keep in mind that it requires purchase of blower motor separately. Otherwise the hood does a good job at venting air in the kitchen.

Chose this to go with over our Thermador cooktop. My husband did a ton of research for each appliance we purchased and this was highly rated on multiple platforms. It will not disappoint. Great lighting, fan works awesome

The switch is made of plastic so the heat from the stove melted mine. So the switch module is now loose and you can put it in. They should of made the switch module out of metal instead of plastic. Horrible design flaw

Be prepared to spend another $600 on the fan to make this "usable". We are happy with it, however it's VERY expensive once you add on the Fan cost to make it actually function.

Hood does NOT come with engine. Really overpriced for what you get. I don’t even understand why it has no engine other than you are able to choose... still get a different hood for the price

It looks good but DOESN'T include the fan - the spec could have mentioned that next to the 3 fan seeds - its very mis-leading.
