Make sure you order a Whirlpool/KitchenAid 585 or 1170 CFM fan blower when you order this product. Yes, you read that right – the most vital function of this range hood is sold as a separate component! I learned this the hard way, since nobody at Best Buy informed me that this was a thing, and now it comes as a surprise $700+ charge and several week wait to receive the 1170 CFM blower accessory. You had might as well tack that on to the price of this hood. It's currently out of stock everywhere, and I would like to thank both KitchenAid and Best Buy for dropping the ball on properly informing their customer base.

Is good, I paid $1,900.00 just for the hood. On display it shows motor included . When it was delivered I only got the hood no motor. The sells rep at Best Buy misinform us. When I called back and talked to the sell’s rep he said I was advertised wrong and that he also missed informed us. There’s no excuse for that.

Auto Fan- Bad Design

After putting the unit in. I had 3 burners on and the Auto-Fan feature started. It automatically takes the fan to High as high heat is detected. Unfortunately, you no longer have any control of the fan until the heat drops. If you want a device that you have to turn off at the break box then this one is for you!
