Heavy Duty Motor!

We had a KitchenAid Tilt Head mixer for 41 years working with no problems. My wife wanted to upgrade to the Lift Stand 7 qt for making double batch bread dough. The Tilt Head didn't have the capacity or power for this task. The new lift stand mixer has no problem at all performing this task. It works effectively.

This unit easily handles pizza dough in addition to all the typical baking needs that KitchenAids are famous for. This was a gift for my step daughter and was ranked to be the closest model to the one I have owned for 37 years! One huge advantage to these machines is that they can cream butter right out of the fridge. I've always loved KitchenAid and am glad that they still offer the more heavy duty models.

defective out of box

purchased as a gift. they went to use it today after opening the box and it did not work out the box. the unit will not power on. very upsetting for the cost and it be a dud out of the box.
