Ive had this machine a year now and I hardly use it bc of the size. Most of the time I use my handheld so I can use my huge bowl or use my other brand of stand up mixer. I would only recommend to a person who don't bake often or in bulk.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It does its thing. It’s quite heavy which I associate with quality, I don’t know if my assumption is right. So far so good. I do have few things that I think they should work on. The mixer doesn’t get to the bottom of the bowl and you have to stop it to make sure everything is well mixed with a spatula. Also, adding ingredients as it’s going can be quite messy and leaves you with a lot to clean up. Besides those two things I’m quite happy with it and I’d recommend it to anyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used the stand mixer only twice but it seems easy to use and does a good job of mixing. Love the red color. It is heavy though so I'm glad I don't have to carry it far. I would recommend this.

I have only had mine for 3.5 years. It will not move, completely unusable. The quality of KitchenAid mixers has gone down SIGNIFICANTLY. My mom has had hers for 30 years….but now you can’t expect your mixer to last more than 3.5 years. They only have a 1 year warranty, so if it stops running after 1 year, all they will do is offer a 20% off coupon to buy another poor quality mixer. EXTREMELY disappointing. Will be going with another, more high quality brand for my next mixer.

Let me tell you, the one I have now I got as an engagement present in 1970!! Thats 51 years old and it still ran GREAT!! It just was beat up from a few moves and of course, the use of it... I was thrilled to get a new bright, shiny Kitchen Aid Mixer!! It mixes anything and everything.
