Customer Ratings & Reviews

Perfect little guy! It does the job of getting the finest coffee, perfectly! The price is great for the great capacity!

Strong, works good, reliable. Wish it had more features. You grind by timing it. I'd rather flip a switch for coffee or espresso grounds. I have to lift the lid to check the ground size. Only takes 30 seconds for ground beans. Very easy to use.

My wife loves the product. Grinds quickly and cleans up easily.

My husband already had one of these and loved it. It comes apart to clean it easier than most of the grinders we looked at. His is still working great over 2 years later. He purchased this one as a gift for a coffee lover.

Good enough to use for my coffee beans!. Easy to clean and nice on the counter of the kitchen.

The coffee grinder does a good job at grinding coffee for a conventional drip coffee pot (e.g. a "Mr. Coffee" type of pot ). After about 15 to 20 seconds of grinding, the ground coffee is a little coarse for my needs. The finer ground coffee collected under the blade and would not move (perhaps too much oil or moisture in the beans). This slowed down the grinding process for the remainder or the beans. I grind coffee for use in a "Keurig" and like a finer grind for stronger coffee. I will try different coffee beans to see if that helps the process. This is my third coffee grinder. My first one, from a different manufacturer, lasted over 15 years. The second one, again a different manufacturer, "burnt up the thermal resistor" the second time i used it but after the 30 day return period allowed by the online vendor. I bought this one based upon reputation of the manufacturer and Best Buy's return policy.

I purchased this grinder as an alternative to my Proctor Silex coffee grinder. While the build quality is a lot better, the Kitchen Aid grinder is heavy and noisy. You need to press down on the lid while its grinding as a safety measure. Pros: Well built. Good quality components. Removable dishwasher safe stainless steel grinder container with markings. Cons: Power cord is not retractable. Noisy operation. Grinding of coffee beans is inconsistent at times, needs to be ground longer even though it has a powerful motor as opposed to other brands. Ground coffee sticks to the sides at bottom of the container near the blades.

Compact but powerful enough for a fine grind. The inner cup is easily removed to pour the fresh ground coffee into your storage container. I like the compact size for easy storage.

Nice product. attractive design. Seems to work well. Would be nice if there were some “settings” but great for the price

This is a great coffee grinder. I also use it to grind black pepper and other things. I also bought this grinder for my friends and they all like it.

My husband recently stopped using the premade cups and started going his own coffee beans. He says this grinder has worked great and is very easy to use and clean. Looks great on the counter too.

We are using it to grind some seeds for cooking and it works well. It's quite easy to clean.

Very small and compact, easy to store. Great for small kitchen areas.

Does its job with no hassles! Easy to clean, works as advertised, and the tick marks inside make it easy to measure out beans. Two thumbs up.

The price was right on this grinder. First of all, the container is removable. That makes it really easy to clean. Most grinders at this price range don't have that feature. However, with all grinders of this type, you can't grind for too long or the beans will burn. So pay attention to that.

I believe this to be a great addition to the kitchen. It is a good dry grinder and does a great job of grinding coffee. If you like to buy your own coffee, this would be a perfect choice. It is easy to clean and the motor is powerful, does a good job and does not overheat. I would recommended it to friends and family.

Debated buying a burr grinder or a blade grinder. After a lot of research, discovered you can barely tell the difference how the beans are cut. This grinder is doing a superb job. We have a Breville Coffee Pot and grind our beans before every use. We could not be happier with our choice.

I go through about 1 grinder a year. I have always bought inexpensive units, This one has a removable stainless cup with measuring units marked inside. Definitely my favorite unit to date....spend the extra 10$ and get it!

I had purchased a cheaper brand about 6 mo. ago. The problem I had is that I couldn't get a consistent blend of ground coffee. A mixture of coffee dust and course ground. Well no more since I purchased this KitchenAid having now a consistant and even blend. It took a little pratice but it dosent take long to figure that out. I also like the fact it has a removable blender cup to dump my freshly ground coffee. It's well made and I sense I'll have this for some time.

Excellent product. Well made, nice size, and does the job as intended.
