I use the 4.5 quart mixer from 5+ Years ago, it came with all original metal attachments. My flat bearer accidentally got put through the dishwasher and was ruined. I tried refinishing it, but couldn’t get it to stop with the black residue. This attachment is well worth the money, after a few fake plastic ones didn’t fit or work, I chunked up the $30 for this one, its solid metal, enamel coated white with the flex edge beater. I LOVE it. Well worth the money, you’ll end up spending the same on crappy plastic replaceMents.

Best mixer blade for KitchenAid mixer. It really scrapes the sides in the glass bowl I got on Amazon.

As much as I use my mixer, buying a new/replacement paddles are essential. I really like this one because of the Flex-edge, it truly makes a difference when mixing.

So I was really looking forward to getting this in time for Christmas baking but the packaging gave me pause. It looks like someone had tore it open. The beater appears to be untouched and worked when I tested it.

This works great with butter and any cake batter. It helps to combine all the ingredients more thoroughly. Highly recommend.

The Kitchenaid Flex -Edge Beater blade does a very nice job with mixing all ingredients, in an electric mixer bowl. It scrapes the sides well, to incorporate each type of ingredient added to the bowl. There is little manual scrapping down necessary. The blade does most of it, for you. Easy to remove, and clean.

I received this beautiful Artisan Series 5 Stand Mixer in marvelous Red for Christmas from my son and his family. It is so Awesome! It mixes eggs frothy, it creams butter and sugar with a touch, and it blends meat and vegetables with such ease that meatballs and other food quickly mix together without effort. I don't know How i was cooking without it for so long. My son realized I do everything "the old fashioned way" and said he didn't want me to work so hard. bless his Heart. My cooking has truly become a pleasurable process rather than a painful ordeal. I can't wait for sales to explore other attachments, particularly the shredder/slicer. Thank you Kitchen Aid to your history of creating remarkable machines and modern improvements. I Love It!!

this is by far one of the best items I have purchased to go with my Kitchen Aide mixer, it scraps the side keeps me from having to stop it just to scrap it down. I would highly recommend getting one.

The scraper edge makes for better results when mixing batters, cookies and most anything else.

Bought two as gifts... it worked in one mixer and not the other. Must be a mixer with the tilt feature of it will not work. I think the tilt mixing bowl is smaller because it didn’t even come close to touching the sides. In the one it did work on.. it worked nicely. While we haven’t mixed anything yet, I did hook it up and run it dry and it scrapes the sides of the bowl. It will be nice not to have to stop the mixer and spatula don the sides constantly.

Bought this for my mom. She loves it and says it works great with her mixer. She uses it with both her 4.5 and 5 qrt bowls.

Makes mixing even easier, and allows the multi-tasker to work more efficiently in the kitchen.
